About
Name: Sara JaneAge: 16
Location: Greater Boston area (or a really small, boring town in New Hampshire)
About me: I created this account last summer and spent every single waking second of my life on it. Then I started school and like a fair weather friend, completely disappeared. But I'm back now!
I'm an INTJ, and I fit the description perfectly. I have dreams of getting really far in life. I want to become an architect and hopefully move somewhere warm (I have unexplainable desires of wanting to go to school in Texas). City life is for me, and I'll probably end up living long term in Boston or Austin.
For all intents and purposes, I'm your average American girl with a blog (www.valentine-kitchenson.tumblr.com). I love cats and tea and reading and all that predictable stuff. I have issues with food and I struggle with anxiety, but when it comes right down to it, I've probably got it really good. I believe we are completely responsible for our own happiness and must be driven and self-reliant to make it in this world (which leads on to my political views, which often conflict with others - I am a loud and proud Libertarian). Something else you should know about me is that music is my life. I'm at least the 2348203948th person to say that but it's true. There is no greater passion than the passion found in music.
Music: The Strokes, MGMT, Arcade Fire, Band of Horses, Wilco, Vampire Weekend, The Smiths, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Julian Casablancas, David Bowie, Modest Mouse, Broken Social Scene, etc etc etc. I always feel I'm being unfair in these posts because I never list everyone important. It would be more worth it to just see my last.fm (http://www.last.fm/user/slafleur16).
Movies: Donnie Darko, Pulp Fiction, (500) Days of Summer, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Napoleon Dynamite, The Life Aquatic, Dakota Skye, Harold & Maude, Marie Antoinette, Fight Club, etc etc etc.
Books: Chuck Palahniuk in general (I am a super fan), Harry Potter, the Catcher in the Rye, Franny and Zooey, Eating the Dinosaur / Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs, the Outsiders, It's Kind of a Funny Story, Go Ask Alice, etc etc etc.
That's probably all you should know at first glance. Leave me a comment and I'll be your best friend forever.

It is nice to make your acquitance razz
& thank you. c: Are you a big MGMT fan?
Journalism, ah great subject. I find it very interesting and adventurous as well. I don't think you'd be bored as a journalist. I could you see you doing it.
If you are determined, you can get a good job as one. But you need really good experience and stuff on your resume. You need internships, must must must. And if you are really really serious about it, go to a good school for journalism.
Anthropology is very interesting too.
To be honest, I'm not sure where to go with the Biology degree. I just know that Biology is the only area that I'm interested in that's actually useful, job wise. I like environmental science a lot. And my dream job would be like a research scientist. Doing field work, being in labs doing tests, that sort of thing. God knows what I'll end up doing. I'm really curious to know where I'll be in 10 years. Isn't the prospect of not knowing the future exciting?
Scientists don't make ALL the money. You could go in Business, Engineering, Advertising, Nursing, Psychology, so many subjects. But if it's like you want to become a Writer or an Artist, then I'd have to object. Realistically speaking, you're not going to get a good stable job with a subject like that.
Snow is beautiful. And the way you described being snug and comfortable at home was very cute and romantic, it's one of the things I love about Winter as well!
Thanks. I change my avatar constantly. >.<
Yes, in NYC. Just more upstate. It's like an hour away from home. Nice quiet posh area with lots of trees. And very snowy Winters. Perfect.

I did change it. I've matured a bit since the time I created Society of Shadows. Thought I'd synchronize, y'know?
Next Friday I move in. I start college 2 days after that.
How are you?
