Bio: It all started in Durem in the not too distant past. A lone figure slipped silently from the side door of the hospital, cradling a small bundle in its arms. No one would have suspected that this once prominent member of the Von Helson family would have disappeared into the night in such a fashion. Nor would it be known that she had just given birth to a baby girl, who through a number of atypical events would become one of the greatest villains this world will ever know.
The Von Helsons lead a search to recover their lost family member to no avail, she had fled from that life, taking refuge with the Cult of Moz. Within this seemingly safe haven, the child, who came to be known as Tamea Goldenrod, grew rapidly. Unfortunately for the girl, as the years passed and she grew more beautiful, she became an object of disdain within the cult. The beatings came without warning and grew increasingly in violence. Young Tamea could do nothing to stop them, and her mother never came to her aid. Enduring these painful days and nights was more than any child could bear, and by the age of twelve Tamea had abandoned the only life she had ever known, taking up residence in the woods near Lake Durem.
Scared and alone, Tamea quickly began to learn how to care for herself. Though her immediate feelings of anger had subsided, her heart was hardened as she could not help but think of her former life, and the lack of compassion shown to her by her own mother. Tamea's days were now filled with survival tactics and self-teaching as she began to do all that she could to better her mind and her body, as well as learning arts vital to her survival. She became somewhat of a myth passed around by local townsfolk. They often told their children tales of the stealthy being that lived in the woods who could take down a full grown bear without breaking a sweat. Even though most of these good people thought the stories to be fictional, they were completely unaware of just how similar to the truth they were.
As the years past, the town of Aekea experienced a great booming growth in their industries, and as an increasing number of factories began to surface, it was nearly impossible for regulations to be put in place quickly enough to prevent unseen pollution. All the while the problem was being deliberated upon, one such factory had began to dump its toxic chemical waste into the nearby river. Though no immediate effects could be seen in Aekea, there was no escaping the toxins around Lake Durem. Unable to foresee what was to become of her, Tamea stayed in her wooded home, unwilling to rejoin the population that had treated her with such undeserved cruelty. It was not long before an odd transformation had begun, and before long Tamea passed from her human life into what can only be described as that of an undead one.
Somewhat startled at her transformation, Tamea began to experience odd sensations in her back, and excruciating headaches. These ailments produced something much more fruitful to her, than she ever could have dreamed-- powers. Delicate white wings sprouted from her back, allowing her the gift of flight. Harnessing her newfound power lead to the discovery that by channelling the power of her mind she had the ability to cause explosions. Her heightened emotions produced larger and more violent explosions, and with the use of her scepter she could direct these explosions with pinpoint accuracy. Delighted, Tamea began her new vindictive lifestyle.
Donning a costume to conceal her already little-known identity, her revenge began with the ones who made her the way she was. A series of savage explosions rocked Aekea in the early morning hours, and before anyone could quite figure what had happened, the factory itself succumbed to the flames. The townsfolk could hear maniacal laughter rising above the roar of the flames. It was on that day that Queen Goldy was truly born. Her reign has brought nothing but fear and loss to the people of Gaia and though many have tried, many more superheroes have failed to overthrow her.
