３年日本語を勉強します。少し日本語をわかるけど。。。でも、ぜんぜん上手じゃありません。

(Translation for English readers/speakers: Welcome! I'm Joan. It's a pleasure to meet you. I've been studying Japanese for 3 years. I know a little Japanese, but I'm never very good at it. ) Although now I'm starting 4 year Japanese, which is kinda painful atm....

Anyway, I'm an AMERICAN (being Caucasian and living in the U.S.) student getting a Bachelors of Fine arts in Drawing, and also majoring in Japanese. I'm hoping that when I'm done with my college education that I'll go to Hokkaido, Japan and teach Japanese kids English. :3

I absolutely love to read manga. I think I read about...2-5 manga books a day. probably more than that. I'm an avid reader XD However, I would probably be proficient in Japanese if I did that with Japanese books, but no I'm lazy and read translated comic books. ^_^;;

I also love to draw pretty pictures, although school has been hitting me pretty hard this semester, that I havent drawn anything of significance lately. D: Eventually I want to start my own little webcomic that at least is a diary of events that goes on in my life (cuz lets face it, even though I'm a boring person, interesting things love to find me in the oddest places). :3
