To one who cannot see?

1990-2006She hiked along life’s Pathway, her pack upon her back
She pitched her tent and rested here and there along the tracks
She used her compass wisely to guide her on her way
And hoped to reach the campsite of our Great Chief Scout some day.
She tried to be trustworthy, kept her honor high and clean.
She was loyal as any to her country and her queen
She did her best at all times, kept her promise – been prepared
And hoped her Good Deeds pleased him when at last her soul was bared.
She lightened other’s burdens with her smile along her way
She kept her hand in God’s hand – walked beside him day by day.
And now her span of life’s run out
We make this gentle plea –
May Jeni sit around your campfire, at her final Jamboree.
