I like working in a kitchen! But mostly making things, I hate the clean-up.

My sister-in-law works at Walgreens! Has for years, they seem to treat her pretty decently!

Fair, it gets spendy quick! Nintendo is great, though.

Fast food really isn't too bad, it's just that kitchen work is always harder than people expect it to be. I always liked working in stores! I like organizing shelves and putting stock away hahaha

Yep, just a family of gamers. Husband is super into Destiny 2 right now, which I like but I am so bad at. lol I've loved games for... forever. Started with Nintendo and still playing Nintendo hahaha

And same, there's not enough money in the world to convince me to go back to a job like that.

I used to play MMOs all the time but lately I'm distracted all the time. And i get forced to play a bunch of Mario games and Minecraft a lot, too. If i play Splatoon or Animal crossing I have to, like, hide in my room or else I get bombarded with "mooommmyyyy i wanna come to your island and cut down all the treeeesss and eat all the fruuuiiit" lol

Oh, Gods, whatever you do do NOT go into a call center!! I did that for a few months. Only job I ever walked out of and never regretted that I did. Never did I ever get so many death threats from customers, and I worked at Taco Bell.

Oh yeah the phone version is so hard to use. sad I try to avoid it when I can, but my PC is like.... old. Old like me. lmao

Ahhh, my friend's been playing that! Is it good? I've been stuck on Animal Crossing because that's about where my attention span has been.
I'm so sorry! Jobs are hard enough to come by, let alone one good for you. I genuinely hope you can find another one just as good, if not better!

Gosh, right? I'm shocked every time i come here and I can still log in. It's nice, though. Gaia helped me a lot as a teen and it's been a constant place I can come back to. I know they'll likely close up shop eventually, but for now I'll take advantage of it.

thanks! My kid's actually standing right behind me and talking away about Luigi's Mansion. Pandemic's been crap for him since we can't get out of the house much, so now I have to deal with a mini-gamer. lol
Also, that's crap!! I'm so sorry about that. My husband got laid off in December, so I feel you. Seems like 2020 was just a kick in the teeth for everyone.


I come back to Gaia every once in a while just to post dumb stuff in the CB and change my avatar around. It's pretty cathartic some days haha

I barely ever come on Gaia anymore, I think I just check on it every now and then now and I'm actually thinking about doing a giveaway so that the items I have don't rot in my inventory forever... only gonna keep the ones that hold real value to me, nostalgia mostly lol.
