Just a bit about me

Hey there!

OMG pshaw, just looked at profile for the first time in months, and realized how very over-dramatic it was. Just so ya know, last time I messed with it, I was 16. Go fig.

Alright. I am a member of the US Army Reserves, and generally a badass. I adhere to the joke about my MOS being a 99Z-combat ninja. Those of you with no illusions, I am actually a 42A-paper pusher, I mean, uh, human resources specialist. Hey, there were three jobs available when I went to pick mine.

I love to read, my kindle is my second best friend. My first best friend is my BFF for 13 yrs, rubyprincess up there by my avi. She is the coolest thing ever. I love soccer, and swimming, and football, but other than that kinda fail at most sports. Just don't care enough I suppose. The army taught me to love repelling, I already climb like a mountain goat, and hiking and camping are givens.

The mountains of Utah are practically my backyard, and I love pretty much everything about them. You probably won't ever catch me willingly spending long periods of time away from mountains. They've got me heart and soul.
I am married and have a little girl, pretty much the most gorgeous little thing ever.

I am a published poet, one of my poems is the love poem in the second book of the Worlds of the Crystal Moon series, the other will be in the edition of Stars in Our Hearts coming out September 2012. I love to role-play, but look for literacy and plot as well.

Mulan and Anastasia are my two fave cartoons ever, and other than that, i tend to go for anything with a tough woman, action, some mystery, fantasy, whatever. Horror is gay these days, all blood and guts, and I'm picky about my comedy and chick flicks. Robin Williams-YAY Adam Sandler-gag

Music- not big on most rap, cant understand screamo, and metal is just sort of...there. Other than that, I go with anything with a good beat, nice lyrics, and something I can sorta sing to. I play baritone, the horn, not the sax, as well as trombone, tuba, tenor and bass drum. I am learning guitar, and can play a few beats on the set, but haven't quite gotten my coordination down yet. Music is as much a part of my life as my family and my military career.
