so who is snuffypoo anyway?

I'm kind of an artsy type of person. I live in Minnesota. with my sweetie - we've been together 12 years now.
Last year (January 2010) he was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer and these days I spend much of my time taking care of him. My sweetie died on February 5th, 2011.

I have a page at deviantArt which I neglect far more often than I mean too. I am proud of the stuff I have posted there though - so have a look if you want but don't be surprised if you comment and it takes me a while to answer you. Just click the personal website link under my avvie on the left to go there.

Extra bits of information:
* I love animals of all kinds and have two kitties irl.
* I hate art thieves and display their heads on pikes outside my house when I catch them. (seriously - don't steal other peoples' work. it's lame. smilies/icon_neutral.gif

* I sit cross legged a lot and I often don't know what to do with my hands.
* I'm not into random friend requests, and I don't automatically friend people I've never met or spent any time talking with.
* Sometimes I walk into rooms and forget what I went in there for.....
* I could live on nothing but pizza and soda. smilies/icon_wink.gif

* I'm a pretty good cook... when I cook.

I've been okay, aside from a few rough bumps in the road I walk upon. But hey, such is life. Painting is a fine way to keep calm, too. I especially love painting my Warpwolf models. I have my own copy of the Feral Warpwolf my post links to, although mine is painted in a reddish color instead. I make a fair effort to make my models unique. I occasionally keep certain colors for lore reasons but otherwise I have fun dreaming up color schemes.

To be completely realistic, the painting and appearance of the models is my favorite thing--them being part of a pretty involved game is just a neat little bonus.
