I’m a girl. I was abused in a relationship from a user on her. They lied about their age, their home life , and refused to let me come show that I was a lesbian. I played a game of pretending to be a male while she abused me and controlled me. She would tear me down, we would fight everyday, she made me feel useless and that’s how she kept me. I didn’t think I could better until she threatened to break up with me on final time, I lost it. I wanted freedom so bad, I tried being nice to her and played along that I would miss her and slowly cut her out of my life. The horrible woman persisted and bothered me and my fiancé had to step in. My fiancé wasn’t my fiancé at the time, she was just a new girlfriend but the way she defended me from my awful ex made me realize how much I actually am worth. All I have to say is although this site is dead, if anyone reads this be yourself (protect ur identify obvs..) but don’t let someone who lives in a different country bully you. Don’t let the worst version of yourself when u were with them let you define who you end up being and who you love afterwards. Love yourself <3
