I Love to Travel. When I was ages 10-15 I lived in Benghazi, Libya, at 16 I spent my sophomore year of high school in Beirut, Lebanon, okay it was looong before the civil wars there so now you know I am older than the average Gaian! I am an American from Tulsa OK but am currently living and working in Bangalore, India.I have been to India on visits 5 times but only just moved here to live about 3 weeks ago. I will be here for around 1 year and plan to learn to cook Indian food and speak a bit of Hindi.
I have two incredible grown daughters who still live in the US. I am hoping to bring them to India for a visit in early summer 2008.
I also love to do volunteer work. I spent 6 years volunteering in the 3 yr old class at my church on Sundays and then another 6 years volunteering on Saturdays in childrens church for kids from disadvantaged back grounds. I also love kids as you can see.
I wish I were artisitic but don't have a lick of talent! Instead I am an accountant...pretty boring but it pays the bills!
My favorite music is contemporary Christian music, i.e. Steven Curtis Chapman or country music, Randy Travis and Trisha Yearwood.
I love chic flicks, action movies and sometimes tear jerkers...but I hate horror movies.
I also love to read. I am a big fan of sci-fi, historical fiction, and spy novels.
