Geez, I forgot what we were talking about. xd The DPRK? I don't live there, I live in the US. I've been to the southern side of the Demilitarized Zone, and that's as close to North Korea as I've gotten.

No, I don't live in North Korea, because if I did, I wouldn't have internet access. xd No joke. Not even the government/military has internet access.

Life is good if you're privileged. Even then, it might not be so good, because you're constantly watched by the Supreme Leader. Screw up once, and three generations of your family will go to a prison camp. I seriously doubt the Supreme Leader will ever grant someone a second chance. Unless he was particularly attached to them, I guess.

As long as you're a high-ranking official or do something that pleases the government (like music/art/etc.), then you'll be treated better than the common people.

I'm not in in just yet. But I'm going to see the Recruiter this coming week after speaking with an adviser about all the questions and concerns I have about joining. Although there are a few things that have made me a little apprehensive, the pros definitely out weight the cons, especially in my favor. I meet all the requirements, now I just need to make an appointment, take my test and be prepared for the training and travel. I'm going to miss everyone because I won't be home that much. But at least I'll have the opportunity to travel and the resources I need while I'm in and once I'm out. ^_^ As for Miiko, I haven't spoken to her for a while. But her cold has been long gone when I spoke to her last. Other than that, I really haven't spoken to her for a while.

Aw, I'm going to miss you as well, Liz. ~Hugs~ I've enjoyed speaking with you and I feel pretty lucky to have met you in the tavern. ^_^ As far as Miiko, last I spoke with her was some time ago when she was feeling sick with a cold. I believe that was two or so weeks ago. I don't come on enough anymore to hold a conversation with her. But I honestly haven't made much of an effort to speak with her either. Mm...Yeah, that's still the plan, and I'll pop on now and then until some time in September as long as I'm not sent out to the base before that time. But quite honestly, other than saying hello to everyone and seeing how they are doing, I don't have much of a motivation to come on Gaia right now. I'll make sure to inform you of when that'll happen. Because of course, when I'm on base, I won't have time to talk to everyone until two months afterwards. Other than that, if you want, you can still contact me through other ways outside of Gaia. ^_^
