Juicy Info

Hello mysterious person who is visiting my profile!

This is profile is mainly just used to show off my journals, because I'm egotistical like that and love views and feedback.

I suppose I could offer some information regardless though - I'm 21 and female. That's about all the private information you're gettin' outta me unless I know you better. Still, it's enough as far as personal goes, right?

Well, anyway, I love writing and roleplaying. I enjoy writing tragedy, drama, schemes, conspire, bad-things-in-general. I like suffering and I like when my characters suffer. I like when other characters suffer. I'm both a masochist and a sadist when it comes to my writing. Dishing out suffering to my or other characters is just as pleasurable as receiving it. I believe conflict is the only way characters properly evolve in a story they're in and I do love me some character development.

"Be a Sadist. No matter how sweet and innocent your leading characters, make awful things happen to them-in order that the reader may see what they are made of." - Kurt Vonnegut

I try to follow the above quote as best as possible. I find it quite insightful. I like to think of my writer-sadism as being wise and refined as I carry it out with grace! (or try to). I don't create suffering or conflict for the sake of it. I like for it to have meaning further down the road with depth and impact other than just initial shock value. It's probably easier if you just consider me an a*****e right off the bat. Still, I love making friends, so don't be shy. I don't bite very hard.

Other interests would be video games, mainly RPG and adventure types, though I love anything with co-op! I played the s**t out of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. If you were to ask, those would be my all time favorites now next to FFXI and Valkyria Chronicles. I actually played Final Fantasy XI for 7 years, shout out if you're from CaitSith! You probably knew one of my characters at some point if you played from release through Wings of the Goddess. Ah, that was such an innocent time. I learned to type playing that game, you know?

Pen and paper games are loads of fun, though I'm more of a Dark Heresy girl myself rather than DnD. I always found the Warhammer universe more interesting than Dungeons and Dragons since WH40k is essentially Suffering: The Universe - Incompetency Edition.

I'm currently trying to teach myself how to draw (it's not going well. This is terrible, burn it all). Poses and Proportions are my bane currently. Perspective is a b***h! Working without a tablet doesn't help since a lot of my work tends to be a mess of sketches, linework and erase marks. Unavoidably ugly, sadly.

I love books! H.P. Lovecraft uses too many adjectives! Try just replacing every adjective with the word 'spooky' the next time you read one of his stories! Let's try an excerpt!

“I suppose that only a single mountain-top, the spooky, spooky citadel whereon spooky Cthulu was buried, actually emerged from the waters… Johansen and his men were awed by the spooky majesty of this spooky Babylon of spooky demons, and must have guessed without guidance that it was nothing of this or any other sane planet. Awe at the spooky size of the spooky stone blocks, at the spooky height of the spooky, spooky monolith, and at the spooky identity of the spooky statues and bas-reliefs with the spooky image found in the shrine on the Alert, is spookily visible in every line of the mate’s spooky description.”

Now just delete every instance of the word "spooky" and watch this paragraph transform into pretty good writing!

Fencing was my sport of choice as a kid through high school. I had always loved anything to do with knights, the middle and dark ages. Especially Arthurian lore! So in my mind, swinging swords around was something I wanted to do. Funny how it worked out that there was actual possibilities to do just that! Never became a national champion or anything. It was mostly for fun and it never ceased to be even to this day. There are times when I still pick up a sword to spar, but mostly those times are over with. I can still beat someone's a** with a cardboard tube though!

I adore Type-Moon and all their works. It's a shame I can't read moon or else I'd be able to actually enjoy every piece of material fully. I've read an played all translated works so far and looking forward to more being completed. The universe everything takes place in is just so immersive and exciting to experience! If you were getting a strange hinting, yes, I love Saber. All of them, in fact. All Sabers are best Saber. (Alter is just a little more "best" than the others!) Women in armor are my main fetish. I gotta lady boner harder dan steel for dat stuff! Saber in a suit though, UNF~!

Wow, I ended up blabbering quite a bit. I'm done!

Cheers,
Seerz (Hey that rhymed!)
