July 16:.:.:.:..: I don't know why you're visiting my page. Most likely, I cheeked you in the forums and now you're pissed, wondering what kind of insane freak would randomly spout foulness to 'innocent' bystanders. Otherwise, it could be cuz you're bored. Well, never fear- I will entertain you. Or try at least.
Now, let's take some time to discuss my all time favorite characters from my all time favorite books. Alright, so it's more of a monologue than a discussion, but it's all the same to me. SO
1. Edward Cullen----
It's funny how my non-cynical favorite author is in love with such a depressed character..opposites attract I guess. Anyway, every loves him, right? I mean, he's everything. Attractive, charming, intellegent, atheletic (even for a vamp!), romantic, protective...and the list goes on and on. But people tend to forget that besides Bella and his family, and his own sense of righteousness...well...he's a pretty selfish guy. Now I know all the adoring fangirls are shrieking in outrage at this point, but that's how he is. At least he admits himself to be a know-it-all. Alas, there's the beauty of it all. An average girl storms in and turns his world upside down, in the process, turning a sad desolate boy into someone lively hopefull and totally whipped. I'm not that into in-depth character analysis, but just kinda fed up with people thinking that Edward is totally lovable and kind to people other than Bells and his family.
2. Nawat Crow
And there we go again, Ms. Cynical Tamora Pierce surprises us all with someone so innocent and radient that...well...makes it to the top of my list. Goes to show that I like variety (yum!) Not as many people would know Nawat; he's VERY different from our Eddie. I'll try to make this brief. In the book Trickster's Choice, Nawat was a crow, who, as part the flock of crows that was engaged in a deal with the Trickster god in a long and tedious plot to win back his island from his other Great Gods siblings, has to help a certain girl, Alianne (Aly) of Pirates Swoop, keep a certain hidden royal bloodline alive (2 sisters- Sarai and Dove) so that one of them can be put back on the throne again and restore the island to their former glory where rakas (brown skinned) and luarin (fair skinned) people live together, as opposed to the rakas being surpressed into slavery for the luarin people. ANYWAY. Nawat was a crow that helped Aly learn the crow language so that she can understand they bring reports to them. On a side note, Aly is a slave girl with the talents of a master spy because her parents are really the spymaster, and king's champion of a rival, and powerful country- Tortall. Nawat turns himself into a man because Aly and humans intrigued him and he finds himself in love with Aly. Crazy right? Crow and girl. HAHA. not.
Enough of that, let us proceed in examining Nawat's peculiar nature. As a crow, he does not have the common sense of humans and so things like war, spying, and tactics are at first, lost to him. As a crow, he also delights in eating bugs (ew!) and constantly offers Aly to mate, mate-feed (giving her bugs ew!) and mob her enemies. But of course, he himself is - was- an innocent creature who says the funniest things. I SWEAR. I was laughing my a** off through the first, and some of the second book, mostly due to Nawat's strange personality. Needless to say, Aly- who used to be an extreme flirt who cares really nothing for the men the plays (still virgin!) with- finds Nawat extremely attractive due to his...well...odd sense of humor. He's very bold about how he feels because shame and embarassment is much less of a deal to a crow. During the course of the second book, Nawat feels inferior to Aly because his past job- fletching griffin and steel storming feathered arrows- was lost to him and he was sent minor tasks such as being the messenger boy. He was sent to battle and bring down major Crown supporting officials by Ulasim, the head of the raka conspiracy without Aly's knowledge (who got really mad a Ulasim for not telling her). When Nawat returns, he is a different man, who becomes an equal to Aly after experiencing the woes of war and becoming a real man after interacting with his fellow fighters.
So physically, Nawat is described as someone in their late teens (about 19) with skin the color of dark sugar syrup, floppy black hair and deep-set black eyes. "Rare were the women who didn't follow him with their eyes as he passes and rarer still were the women who lingers after getting to know him" (cuz he was kinda strange.. until the later part of the second book). When he was fletching arrows, Aly often times notice a crowd of flirty girls surrounding him. He is not a philosopher like Edward, and neither is he as old as Edward (who is about a century old). In fact, he was only 3 years old as a crow and 1 year as a man. And also, unlike Edward, Nawat is very people-friendly and lovable.

I live in Ontario, Canada, near the US border (guess where!). I'm in my teens and luff reading.
Especially Stephenie Meyer and Tamora Pierce. Also JKRowling, Eoin Coler, Jack London, David Clement-Davis, and the list continues.
I have a little sister, about 3 months. My grade average is 90 right now...I have no idea how I get goodish grades. No idea at all. Personally, I don't think I'm that smart. (and no, I'm no faking modesty, or implying that people with lower GPAs are dumb. Quite the opposite)
My fav sport is badminton. Hair is dark brown, somewhat wavy, sometimes uncooperative. Eyes are same color as hair. Skin is light beige.
I like animals, cats and dogs the same. I dislike cloudy humid days and am not a cynist or pessimist. I am Christian. I am not overweight, not underweight and I am not extremely unhealthy and un-atheletic, but neither am I an athletic, or extremely healthy. Does that make sense? Yes, it does.
I use sarcam occasionally-rarely and also my honey-sweet voice when I lose patience. I don't think sarcasm is an art, I think it's cruel, arrogant, condescending and often complicates simple things. But I use it... and it's hard to quite. But I try smile yay me.
By the way, I make a killer banana cake. And sometimes, killer peach and cinnamon muffins with streusel topping if I feel like it. Be nice to me and I won't poison your food.
