Powers and Abilities: Rose possesses enhanced agility, endurance, speed, and strength due to the Terminator serum administered by her father, Deathstroke. She also has precognitive abilities that allow her to see her opponents’ oncoming attacks, and occasionally further into the future, though this ability is unbalanced and relies mainly on her adrenaline levels. Powers aside, she is a formidable in hand to hand combat, being an expert in martial arts. Rose also is quite skilled in the use of almost any weapon given to her, though tends towards a pair of swords in most combat situations.
Weaknesses: Due to the serum, Rose is occasionally disturbed by psychotic episodes. Also, she has a huge ego, and the arrogance to go with it, but rare is the time when she cannot live up to her words.
History: Raised without any knowledge of who her father was, Rose Wilson had a lovely childhood, one filled with luxury and, as expected, daily combat training. Of course, all of this was compromised when dear old Daddy came knocking.
She’d had her suspicions that this guy her mom was taking care of was her father, but that was made definite at age fourteen when the then-Ravager, good ol’ Uncle Wade, kidnapped and tortured her. In the process of her rescue, mommy drove off a cliff, and, once again, daddykins left, leaving her in the care of none other than the Teen Titans, feeling it was best she didn’t fall to the danger involved with being associated with him.
During a training exercise, a fellow teammate injured Rose, and at the hospital, she met another milestone: her very first glimpse into the future. Rcovering, however, was not a good time for poor Rose, and with her violent nature and all, she thought it best to leave the team.
After this leave of absence, she actually manages to have a period of normal life. Until her crazy Uncle Wade shows up, kills her adoptive family, and she ends up in Deathstroke’s lair, drugged up with Terminator serum and killing Wade. Thus begins the great family tradition of manipulative tactics. After training her for some time, he tells her to kill her half-brother. Fun times. She hesitates, thus bringing Deathstroke to question her loyalty, which Rose feels she must earn back by gouging out her left eye to be more like her father.
He then proceeds to put her under Nightwing’s tutelage, and the former Robin secretly teaches her the way of the hero. And like every female Grayson come into contact with, she develops a bit of a crush. Slade then pits her against Superman, who she totally thinks she can take, but doesn’t, thus ruining any trust she had in her father. Needless to say, she revokes all connection.
At the request of Nightwing, Rose rejoined the Teen Titans, but soon strikes off on her own once more, due to her issues with Wonder Girl. After much atoning for her father’s sins (even though she kind of kills some people on her own time), Rose joins the Teen Titans again, and is currently enjoying a rather ‘normal’ tenure, if you can apply the word to teenage heroes.
And even after fighting Black Lanterns with him, she still really doesn’t like her dad. At all. Just to make that clear.
