Ooh which one is final line? Sounds familiar but can't remember.
Hmm usually takes awhile, those tickets. I see you managed to get some items though. Kind donations from friends? Anything in particular that you are questing?
Gosh yes, it's so annoying when I have to clear those announcements on my alts xD BetterGaia, an extension on Chrome, recently added a feature to speed load all the announcements so you don't have to keep clicking. I like that cause I don't like seeing those bubbles too so I'll always clear it. I think that's a bit ocd haha. Like how I have to organize my inventory all the time.
Oh well, whatever it is, I think we shouldn't worry about that. We're all just here for friends and entertainment. That could be brought elsewhere even without Gaia (although I have spent quite a lot on this site).
Now after deciding not to spend anymore, those announcements are starting to get annoying. Haha. I just check the cash shop at noon time and speed click through the announcements. Pretty ridiculous if you think about it, 6 announcements per day.
Many people feel that way, but think about it logically, does it make sense for the CEO to abandon his own company this way? Professionally on his resume, it would be stated that he worked in Gaia Interactive. Surely potential employers would not hire someone who dug a deeper hole for a company and then left. He has a plan, his method, and he's here to do it. I think Gaia probably has shareholders too, and i think Lanzer is still the chairman or something.
Yea it's easy to overspend back then. Now it's worse with the daily releases is it's extremely difficult to keep track of purchases. Something you bought three days ago might seem like last week. orz
Hehe good for you. So many cheap stuff now due to the deflation from Dice/Critical Roll. I would never spend 90 on a bundle, but then eventually it adds up on multiple bundles >_<;
Eh, I avoid the SF. They seem full of negativity, it gets annoying. The GCD has opinions from both side so I prefer that forum.
i'm starting to think Gaia does not have a monthly quota. My original hypothesis was, to reach monthly quota, release gold gen to inflate, release items to deflate. After Candy Hearts, I seriously doubted that they understood the effects of this inflation they are pushing. I believed one thing they did not expect was how vendors and exchangers capitalized on the inflation to raise prices of unlisted items. Now its clear they are aware of this issue, thus the items in Flynn's Plunder, Nicolae Blackmarket, and very cheap rereleases. They show no signs of stopping though, with Project Couture and Dice Roll, effectively raising the cash to gold ratio to 1 dollar for 15m. The way they are going at it seems like they are just trying to rack up as much money as possible before a certain date. It doesn't look like a monthly plan to me anymore.
The good thing is now so many items are down to 1m. Mercury Moon dropped so much I feel bad for it. Heh, never knew you were in Verge before. But yea, don't you think items were overly expensive there in the past? Now things are 10 bucks or so, which is more reasonable. Still more expensive than La Victoria in general though.
Oh gosh. Grass tho. I feel bad for them now. u.u ok rain, hurry.
Ehh yeaa, Gaians are kind of unappreciative and play down on the positive things Gaia does. I mean, end of the day, Gaia is a company that needs to earn money to continue running. Most websites these days rely on userbased content, so they dont require as much workforce to maintain the site. Gaia has to constantly put out new content, no different from companies selling products in a supermarket. Not easy to keep things free.
Oh no, Verge is another level of crazy. Things used to go like $25 bucks minimum. It's like oh you spent enough to get into our exclusive shop, well here's some even more expensive items you can buy! 499gc limited items, up to 1000gc, is quite affordable compared to previously. Remember when items used to sell for $50 each even during the black friday sale? It's a big drop since then.
