THE FACTS
Call me Ray.
I'm 25 years old. I live in Maryland. I've been on Gaia for almost 10 years now. I'm working on my Master's of Arts. I received my Associate's of Art's in General Studies; English in 2009. I received a Bachelor's of Arts in English & Poetry with a concentration in Shakespeare in 2012. I'm now going for an M.A. in Leadership & Teaching. I want to teach English and Language Arts to students grades 6-8. To pay for all of this, I detail luxury cars and design wedding signs.
I enjoy reading & writing poetry. I also love wine & food pairings. The process of winemaking fascinates me. One day I would love to work at or own my own winery. I am also a black & white film photographer. There's something so romantic about being in a darkroom developing your own pictures. My subject is most often urban decay & urban exploration. Remember to take nothing but photographs and leave nothing but footprints. I use a Minolta x-370 whom I've affectionately named Beauregard.
ROLEPLAYS
I’m interested in a variety of roleplays. I enjoy survival horror (for example, Silent Hill & Resident Evil), post-apocalyptic, vampire/werewolf, commerce, & the occasional romance. I prefer OCs for my character bios rather than being a canon character.
I do 1x1 RPs, but rarely. The story has to seriously get my attention. Most of these turn into romances & die fast so I’m not always looking for 1x1 partners.
I do not, nor will I ever, be interested in slave/master RPs so please don’t ask.
I prefer long-term & fast-paced roleplays. If a thread is too slow, I will leave it relatively early. My longest RP was over 1100 pages. I’ve had another that generally reached between 80-90 pages, & had over 5 installments. I prefer lit-adv.lit.
