My name is Cortnie. I live in the small town of Nowhere in the "great" state of Oklahoma. I'm a Junior this year. Only two more years to go! I am an Oklahoma Sooner fan through and through, born and raised. Where I come from, there are huge rivalries between the Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners. BEDLAM BATTLE!

I love life. And eventhough I may not always show it, I am there to listen. I'm not a morning person. Don't count on talking to me when I wake up, because I probably won't be very polite. Keep in mind I'm not trying to be rude. I just need to wake up first. Give me space. STAY OUT OF MY BUBBLE! Or I'll bite your head off.

There are a great circle of friends in my life. Most I've grown up with. Girls: Shianne, Savannah, Kaitlin, Ashley, Hannah, Kahyla, Chrissy, Vicki, Kayla, Tabitha, Katelen, Brittany, Danielle, Hayley H., Hayley L., Shelby, Audra, Lizzie, Courtney, Cortney, Diana-Joy, Joy, Ashley R., Amanda J., Amanda R., Autumn W., Autumn R. Guys: Brian N., Kameron, Garrett, Niko, Patrick, Garrett B., Cody, Ethan, Timmy, Alex...and tons of other amazing people. If I forgot to put your name down, nothing against you. Just, can't think at the moment.

My favorite colors are lime green, black, deep pink, and purple. I've lived in the same place my entire life. I like to hang out with my friends and do about a million other things. Friends are easier to make on the Internet than in real life.

Some people wouldn't believe it, but I'm the type of person who likes to fish and go camping about every other weekend. I'm the type of person who's never been hunting, but dreams about going.

Simply said, I scare people. Sometimes I'm too loud, sometimes too quiet. Or too hyper, too sleepy. I'm always too something. But that's just the way I am. Tell me to grow up? No way! I act this way because its me and nothig and no one can change that. Get me with my best friend Amanda and you'll wish you'd never even met us. I love my friends and will stick by their sides to the grave. We have our rough spots, but things always starighten out.

I don't cry often, but when I do, I hate for people to see it. I'm not good all the time at expressing my emotions. Well, except for anger. My temper is short. And if you make me mad I'm not going to talk to you about it calmly. I'm going to get in your face and yell at you. Sometimes, I feel awkward when people hug me. Its nothing against you, but not something I'm used to. I'm pretty easy to make happy and I can't stay angry long. I laugh a lot, yell a lot, go really crazy when I'm with my friends. But its me.

I seem to have an endless stream of cousins. Aunts and uncles gallore. And having an older brother and sister, I've leanred to deal with things in a different way. If I forget your name, don't take it wrong. I can barely remember my family's names. A niece and nephew has taught me a lot too. They're more like younger siblings to me. Sometimes I feel like they are my brother and sister.

There are a million and one things I could say about the town I live in, the people I see every day, my family, and even my friends. Seeing the same faces every day can about drive you nuts. Especailly when you run into the same people over and over agian, no matter where you go. But that's how it is here. And then you get to the point that you're so fed up with other people you get tired of your friends and family too.

You wouldn't believe I could be friends with some of the people I hang out with. We're opposites. And sometimes, we fight about everything. But in the end, it all works out and everything is just fine and dandy.

That's another thing about me. I grew up hearing weird stuff and listening to oldies music. I can barely stand the stuff now. But some of the music is okay. Yes, I say hunky dory, fine and dandy, fiddlesticks, gnarly, wicked, spiffy and a million other stuff, but thats okay. Amanda does it too.
