It is difficult for me to objectively evaluate myself in any way that you might find insightful, so anything I say here is suspect. Given that, there are three reasons why, I think, you would have come to my profile.
1. Beta-Profile Word Game. Howdy. I expect you. If you say "she really likes purple", then you fail at word games.
2. To check my wishlist around a gift-giving time.
3. To read and comment. If any of YOU people are interested, I keep a journal of Gaia art that I've received. Check it out; most of it's pretty high quality, if that happens to be your cup 'o tea.
I'm not sure what or who I am today. I'm consistently defined by my colour choice, which extends it's reach into all aspects of my life. I am a purple person, hear me burble. I am also obsessed, in a socially acceptable way, with rabbits.
I work in Developmentally Disabled Services, currently in a care home for youth; I've been doing this sort of stuff for more than a decade. If you're in the field, I'm sure we can share some feel good stories, as well as a chunk of horror stories. All while keeping confidentiality, of course.
I attend college full time. This semester begins mid January just before my birthday. Once I've finished this semester, I'll have an AA in Behavioral Sciences and transfer to a 4-year for their Bachelors in Social Work program. My long-term goal is an MSW. When not wearing this responsible-adult-bright-young-lady-trustworthy-care provider persona (it is me, but only part of me), nearly everything I do is socially unacceptable to at least one social group. For many reasons, this is neither a full nor impartial list, but just a few bits of things that I'm comfortable with anyone knowing. I'm a lush. Temptation I have named thee, and thy name is Tullamore Dew. I also adore Red Breast and Black Butte Porter. I've only a couple of piercings, but the tattoos are swiftly increasing in number. It surprises many that I do not smoke weed, although I am a 215 advocate. Being a girl from/in Humboldt County, weed tolerance, use, and know-how is expected; however, I get intense paranoia and seizure-like symptoms when I do, so I don't. I adore all cheeses other than blue, and Furby doesn't frighten me.
