But contact lenses are hard to manage. There's just too much process. You have to change the solution every now and then. And you have to put eye drops ever so often so it won't dry out. You can't sleep with contacts on. It's difficult to rub your eyes. I have a set but I only use them on special occasions or when I'm feeling damn pretty. mrgreen
And no, I haven't looked up anything on A-Kon... It's a long story, but the last time I went to A-Kon, I had a huge depression/anxiety attack, so now I'm afraid to go. sad I was supposed to do two couple cosplays (they were completed and ready to go) with a boyfriend I had for 7 years, but like a month before the con, he cheated on me with and left me for my then best friend. So I found myself at the con, a single Disney princess who was wearing one of the Disney couples outfits (Princess Ariel in her black, blue and white "dating Eric" dress). Realizing the costume wasn't technically a "single" costume, a huge depression dawned on me, my heart broke and I got highly increased anxiety to the point of nearly having a heart attack. After that attack, when we got home after the con, I wasn't able to leave the house at all without anxiety issues for another two and a half years. I didn't even get to graduate from college on time.
I am happy to know though that someone took me off their ignore list. smile
Well usually, if I get into a fight with someone on here, it's usually over morals or something of the like... But I am otherwise a very calm kind of person face to face. Honestly, I don't enjoy fighting, anyway.
It's likely we have met. I've been to at least 30 conventions in Texas since I was 13 and now I'm 24. And I have also never fought with anyone at a con. smile
