Oh, I forgot to mention - I didn't pick up any arts or crafts during my city's stay-at-home orders but I did start branching out with my Youtube subscriptions. I like to watch Odd Tinkering and Awesome Restorations (Antique restoring channels), The Detail Geek (car detailing), LegalEagle (A lawyer who talks about legal topics but makes it easy to understand) and quite a few others. I still try and write... and I have never stopped listening to Pandora radio. Job-wise, yeah, I'm still a substitute teacher. The schools closed down back in March but then reopened in October for in-person learning. It's so weird. Only a few kids are in-person and the walls are so bare... no posters or trophies/awards, nothing that can't be sanitized. And as far as the state of Texas as a whole - our Governor seems to be in denial and wants to reopen everything. We are getting overwhelmed here. I worry over hospital capacity but I'm thankful that at least in my little sphere (work, home, the grocery store) there are mask mandates and hand sanitizer dispensers. Here at home we've stocked up considerably, but we are not hoarding! I hated it when people did that. But we've got enough supplies (food and non-food) to last a while. There will always be conspiracy nuts but that was true even before Covid. I mean... just look at 9-11.

I'm a bit more introverted and I'm used to not traveling out of state. But not being able to go out, go shopping and actually get something for all the hard work I put in has really done a number on me. Not to mention work has been slow going even as we're re-opening. Everything feels so different this year. I never realized all the things I used to take for granted.

Hey there! It's been a long time, hasn't it? It really has been a crazy year all around, the election's only the half of it. My state isn't technically in lockdown, but this is the first year my relatives from out of town couldn't visit because of Covid concerns. (my oldest sister is an essential worker and she didn't want to expose my parents who are in the older age bracket.) It just makes it feel a bit more lonely over the holiday season. I am trying to cope anyways. I hope you're doing well on your end.

So much has happened! I don't know where to begin. A lot of it's deeply personal stuff that I'd rather discuss in PM to be honest.

But on a lighter note: I still have my job, I'm still making a (very modest) living, and although my old dog passed in January (May he Rest in Peace) - I have two new puppies, a 1 year old cat and an entire collection of e-books I'm reading.

I suppose I'm alright, all things considered.

I wouldn't believe everything Gaia says... recall the constant messages our inboxes about GC and when it was reported as spam, we were
told it wasn't... I'm sure old accounts do more then take up band with... user names as well. I dress my mules up... so it's kinda hard to see
that it's really costing them, Ultima Stocking being mine... I've put a fair amount of money and gold into her. As for the items the Tanuki are
getting... I'm sure it'll be something great eventually, hope it's not like the Overseer Skin... just terrible... until it was fixed.

Considering you have six months... to use said account, before it's locked and I'm aware... it just doesn't put any money into Gaia's hands.
The items are given away and all that, however... it doesn't increase anything but the gold sinks. Those happen so often... that the gold
generators are pumped out and cause inflation, so making a mule for oh lets say the events like Caroling, Trick Or Treating where the
number of items granted are limited... we gaian's have to make gold to deal with inflation that Gaia caused. Allowing us to make a little extra
down the road... and the money some of us put into this site, they can afford our mules. I mean they limit the number of grants... and don't
expect us to find ways around it, I remember caroling to get five... six sets of everything.
