Classic is nice because you can specify exactly where you want the boxes to sit on the page, rather than having to program the columns and then figure out how each different box needs to be displayed in each individual column. That's why I like them. XD

Also, I don't know if you can use invisible scrollbars in V2 profiles, so they end up being very long, from what I can see. I think I tried adding invisible scrollbars to my current profile and it didn't go so well. D:

So three columns? Would you want all of them to be the same size, centre one bigger...? And, 3-column profiles don't work on all screen resolutions; is that okay? c:

Hmm... I'll try and code up a V2 profile first, and then if it doesn't work out, I'll fall back on old-school. V2 profiles are harder to do, because the coding is a bit different, and you have to take a lot of different things into account, like whether you want three columns or two; that kind of thing.

The colour scheme sounds fine. Do you have any images you'd like me to use, or should I just go to Google? XD

LOL sure thing. It might take me a while, since there's still a lot of things I'm learning about CSS. I'm in the process of making a profile for myself at the moment but I keep getting sidetracked from doing it. D;

I guess I'll need you to send me... a link to any images you want me to use, and maybe a basic layout of how you want the thing set up (either link me to something you like on tektek, or doodle up a layout in Photoshop or whatever).

This is my profile testing whore; you'll be able to check to see how the profile looks there. He's currently got my work-in-progress profile going, but there's a lot of things I need to fix about it -- namely the background, comments window, and stupid random Details box floating over in the corner there. The idea is that it won't have any scrollbars once I'm done, but I still have a ways to go. XD The comments window, About Me window, and wishlist all have invisible scrollbars, and the wishlist does cool crap when you hover over the items. c:

I prefer to use old-school coding rather than V2 nowadays, so you won't be able to drag the boxes around or anything like that, but I find that you can get much nicer results with an old-school profile anyway. D: I can try for a V2 profile (which is what I have on this account right now) if you want, but I'm not all that happy with how it turned out anymore...

Unfortunately, it's not a coding issue... they programmed it like that initially. Or they overhauled the main Forums and forgot to overhaul Guilds. They aren't planning on fixing it. D:

I've always been Gundam crazy, ever since I first watched Seed. Now I'm just not afraid to show it, because I just don't care what people say anymore. ಥ w ಥ

In my defence, I just happened to mention offhand in an RP's OOC thread that I would kill for a lit-adv Gundam RP, and then one of the other members was basically like "MAKE ONE DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT", so I did. XD

But yeah, for that reason, guilds are good and bad... more easily organized, easier to navigate through, but way tougher to make s**t look good, and tougher to keep alive. :U

Guild RPs are pretty cool, since you can organize stuff into your own subforums... But they're tougher to get people for, I find, and the BBCode doesn't work very well, so a lot of the cool text formatting that works on the main Forums breaks when you use it in Guilds. >: It's part of the reason why I've started up my own in the main Forums -- because I'm addicted to shiny post formatting, like some kind of geeky, Gaia-addicted raven.

Gah, DA. I haven't posted anything there in years. I figure if I do an art shop, I'll post the stuff there rather than on my Photobucket account to save bandwidth, but until I get to that point, my gallery's pretty barren. XD

LOL, That's fantastic. I miss that series all of a sudden. But, I'm pretty bad too -- I've got a copy of everything pertaining to Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny, or I know where I can get my hands on anything that I don't have a physical copy of... And I'm probably gonna do a Gundam SEED abridged once I get some time... and my RP is Gundam SEED-based.

I still don't feel like I'm good enough to take commissions for actual money, so I'm still creeping around here for practise. Sometimes I wish I could have applied for an art school, but I know that I'm not qualified, since I stopped taking art in, what, 10th Grade? That and my parents would probably flip out on me. Hell, my dad didn't even want me going into Meteorology until he saw the ridiculous course load I was going to be taking. :'D

But yeah, I finally started RPing in the main forums. Before, I always used to stick to Guilds. Dunno why. XD I'm in this really kickass Pokémon RP right now, and I'm in the process of starting my own... So much work. ; A;

Ehh, I'm okay. I'm pretty fed up with my classes at this point, except my Japanese class, but I still have a month and a half to go. I'm already accepted to the university I really wanted to go to, though, so it's really just a matter of time. >:

Other than that... I'm really just doing a lot of RPing here on Gaia, and I'm contemplating setting up an art shop once school is out. XD
