The Side-stories that take place in Modern-day Madoka Magica and have Mami Tomoe in them do wonders to flesh out
her existence a lot more than the Main Anime alone ever could, and even in The Main Anime alone Mami's been very important, she connects us all
and it shows aside from Puella Magi/Mahou Shoujo Tart Magica, which takes place both Outside of Japan and in the Medieval Times/Dark Ages of Humanity
during the Hundred Year Wars between Britain and France, Joan of Arc's time itself. Without detailed spoilers, even the Main Anime's Journey offers Above-Average Development and not just Personality-wise either for the residents,
everything in even The Main Anime is consequential and works like clockwork, while still feeling very natural.
No lies from me to note that The Main Anime could have been so much better than what it already was/is/always will be, and even then what's there is amazing in
more than just The Music alone.
Before we've met, sometimes I'd feel a lot of the headaches would have been fixed regarding both had there been a LOT of Sakura x Hinata fanfictions going on.
I'd still feel that way even today, although now I'd think twice in assuming things would be that simple as far as finding solutions are concerned.
Any World's events worth their salt NEEDS to balance out having tolerable 3-dimensional+ (at minimum) residents with reasonable, Non Slug-Tier+ or Worse Pacing at work at the same time,
if you can't find a way to balance that out, your projects will be held suspect to say the least.
That's not to say that The Journey and Consequences ought to be neglected altogether, but if there's a drought in 3-Dimensional+ personalities or Slug-Tier+ pacing going on, the whole
would fall apart.
I've yet to know the true scale or scope on what you've read or watched, but I take it you've watched Madoka Magica or The Dot Hack(.Hack) Shows somewhere,
more likely the former rather than the latter since both it and the Manga spin-offs are available.
Well, in Sakura's case it's not exactly always for the better, though one of the points about Sakura Haruno is that you're allowed to know
she tries to better herself, I'll admit as much.
Hinata's trickier despite feeling more tolerable, not always for the better either.
This matter's not at all easy to deal with, I just know it and IF the majority of the residents were more tolerable, Sasuke would have been De-Powered by now at the very least.
You got a good point with the former, otherwise trust me, I'd have found Leafa from Sword Art Online more to my liking if so many more critical things than just Personality-wise alone
were allowed to develop, and I don't actually detest or despise Leafa either since she reminds me of a close friend of mine. (I confess I'm spoiled by The World of Madoka Magica, and even focusing on The Main Anime alone, Mami Tomoe's development feels better in spite of the fact Mami's no Paragon of Stability, despite Earning her worth as a Legend in her own right.)
You can tell me more on why Hinata's personality may irritate you in spots, just don't blame me for wanting to shake away all the bad
memories I'd often get when it comes to Sakura Haruno's presence in turn.
Personality-wise, most of the females of One Piece aren't too shabby in terms of developments, there might be
some off-key things in terms of their various presences but they're at least 3-dimensional.
A lot of the females in Naruto get less talking room-by-numbers though, I find Hinata fairly-decent-at-best and only tolerable at worst, but
attempting to count the tolerable females would only grant a handful at any given time, sadly.
There's about a dozen or so tolerable residents in Naruto apart from Kakashi, but if the majority of the Cast was well-managed, it'd be another matter we're talking about now,
that much is clear.
I remembered the former was lacking in breeding tolerable residents by numbers and the latter has more sluggish pacing than any Dot Hack(.Hack) show, Anime-wise,
despite also having everyone get a 3-dimensional personality each.
