About

I'm a Christian goth (Yes, there is such a thing).

I am a college student and I am majoring in History and Spanish as a secondary teacher, and minoring in Japanese.
History, religions and Languages are my life. Music too, can't leave out the music.

(Would so wear that dress!! and that hair......*Drools* Marie Antionette was a horrible queen, but She had an amazing fashion sense.)

(In stead of dreaming of a knight in shining armor...I dream of an old fashioned man in a top hat)

(Sad enough, this describes a lot of my personality)

(This is just fun!)

(Would kill to have this dress...My mother made me a bustle dress for my senior prom. It was the coolest!)

((Victorian, Georgian, and the gilded age was nice, but now it's time for some Antiquety!!! (Meaning ancient world history))

((Egypt has such a unique culture. It is very beautiful))

((Ah, the infamous 2012 prophecy. The Long Count is a large segment of time with a definite starting and ending point. The period began on August 11, 3114 BC and it ends on December 21, 2012. The Long Count, a span of 5,125 years. The real prophecy, that the Mayan people believe is that their god, Quetzalcoatl, is coming back from a long journey.))

An oracle is a person or agency considered to be a source of wise counsel or prophetic opinion. The Pythia, commonly known as the Oracle of Delphi, was an initiated female Priestess at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, a town located on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. The Pythia was widely credited for her prophecies inspired by Apollo.

((A most becoming picture of the Colosseum. This is where all the Gladiator games took place, among other things. A lot of the time an Emperor would host games to gain popularity amngst the people of Rome. Same with senators and such.))

((The construction of Taj Mahal started in the year 1631 and ended in 1653. It was built by Shah Jahan who built it for his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died giving birth to their 14th child. It became her tomb.))

((A beautifully done chinese water painting. Starting around 4000 B.C. traditional Chinese painting has developed continuously over a period of more than six thousand years. Its growth has inevitably reflected the changes of time and social conditions. In its early stage of development, Chinese painting was closely related to the other crafts, from pottery to the decorations used on the bronzes, carved jade and lacqerware.Following the introduction of Buddhism to China from India during the 1st century A.D. and the consequent carving of grottoes and building of temples, the art of painting religious murals gradually gained in prominence.))

((This is a castle in Osaka, Japan. I am going to live in Osaka. Osaka Castle was originally built in 1583 by the order of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, however the castle suffered several destructions throughout its history.))

((This is the Tokyo tower. Tokyo Tower is 13 meters taller than its model, the Eiffel Tower of Paris, and the world's tallest self-supporting steel tower. It was completed in the year 1958 as a symbol for Japan's rebirth as a major economic power, and serves as a television and radio broadcast antenna and tourist attraction.))

((The Crusades were a series of Holy Wars launched by the Christian states of Medieaval Europe against the Saracens. The term 'Saracen' was the word used to describe a Muslim during the time of the Crusades. The Crusades started in 1095 when Pope Clarendon preached the First Crusade at the Council of Claremont.))

((Ah, the renaissance. After the plague had completely wiped out Europe, a rebirth was in order. Renaissance actually means rebirth, and during this time people focused a lot of humanism.))

((and now for American history...))

((Natives rule!!!))

((This is my Native American tribe. I do have my papers!))

((We are the basket weavers, and the Man in the Maze is our symbol.))

((Have pride you are an American.))

((July 4th, 1776 was a most divine day.))

(Those really were the days. The wild west is a fantastic representation of America.))

((As much as I hate...no loath the roaring twenties, it happened. It chanegd America forever. For better or worse...I really don't know.))

((Another fantastic Era in America. I would have loved to have been alive then.))

Religions, They have as much say as anything else in what happens in the world. In the past, rpesent, and as always they will have a say in the future.

((Greek Goddess Hekate. She is Goddess of the dark moon, and also known as the evil witch goddess. However, in my opinion she was wrongfully accused. She was helping the goddess, Persehpone, who was afraid to travel to the underworld by herself, so Hekate took her down there, and brought her back up, out of kindness.))

((This is the Hindu god Ganesh. This is one of the many gods of India. This God of knowledge and the remover of obstacles is also the older son of Lord Shiva. Lord Ganesha is also called Vinayak ( knowledgeable ) or Vighneshwer (god to remove obstacles). Every family has their own god. The funny thing about Indian gods is that if there isn't one that fits your family. You can make up one all on your own for your family.))

Mayan Goddess of the Moon and an ancient fertility goddess, Ix-Chel was responsible for sending rain to nourish the crops. When fulfilling that function she was called “Lady Rainbow”. She also protected women during pregnancy and childbirth.))

((Tarot was created around 1440, somewhere in northern Italy. The art of reading the cards was only taught under an apprenticeship. It has been changed and altered all throughout history as it spread all around the world. During the occult revival, which continued into the early 20th century, there was a great deal of anthropological revisioning of older traditions. In the late 20th century, Tarot was widely adopted by various New Age enthusiasts, neo-Pagans, and of course, fortune-tellers, as well as people who were simply interested in using the deck for self-exploration without any spiritual or mystical motivation.))

((Not of this world. I am an Alien. I am not of this world, nor will call it ‘home.’ My desires are not for earthly things that will fade, corrode, or Burn. I set my heart and mind on things above. My faith and hope are in God alone and I eagerly wait his return for me. I’m a citizen of Heaven. – 1 peter 2:11, Col. 3:1-3, 1 John 2:15-17, 1 Thess. 4:17, and Php. 3:20.))

((The Roman Empire in the Fourth Century AD saw Christianity established as the state religion. The Chi-Rho monogram, or Christogram, combined X and P, the first two letters in the name of Christ. Only once was there an issue of coins with a prominent use of the Christian symbol. In 353 AD, near the end of his losing battle with Constantius II, the usurper Magnentius issued bronze coins showing the Chi-Rho between the letters Alpha and Omega (REV. 22:13). ))

Or this guy, if you will.

((The Archangel Michael is bets known for being the angel that actually physically threw Lucifer and one third of the rebelling angels out of Heaven. Michael's name means 'He who is like God' or 'He who looks like God.’ Leader of the Archangels, he is the Angel of protection, justice & strength. Protection, courage, power and strength.))

((This is Satan (Also known as Lucifer, Angel of the bottomless pit, Sammeal…you get the picture. He is the main public enemy in Christianity. He, at one point, was God’s favorite Angel. The most beautiful angel ever. He was the leader of worship. Lucifer was created to dwell eternally in the throne room of heaven, in the very presence of God (Ezekiel 28:14). He got a little too big for his britches and was soon casted out of Heaven. He is deeply jealous of Mankind for they have what he can never have again. To be in the presence of God and able to enter his Kingdom.))

Do you find the older or younger kids are harder to work with? Just curious. Okay, thanks for the info there, I googled it and it does like familiar. I've been trying to research more about such things lately. Was gonna pop open a book about the runes soon here after I finish this Clive Barker novel I'm almost done with. Thanks! I really like the Four Seasons, especially Summer Presto. Never heard of Globus, I'll have to youtube them. Well, I think its about time I logged off here, but it was nice making your acquaintance, we'll have to continue this convo later!

What grades have you been teaching? Does it vary? The thing that seems attractive to me about a job like that is being able to see your efforts directly by making the posterity a bit more knowledgeable 3nodding lol, I don't know what the sigil of Ameth is, I'll have to google it. Definitely, I actually saw them live once, they put on a pretty good show. Ah, do you have any favorite bands though? Well, I mostly listen to metal, but when it comes down to it I guess I like a little bit of everything, I was listening to some Paganini and Vivaldi this morning, lol.

Righteous, being a history teacher would be a rewarding job. Yeah, Dimmu Borgir is pretty good, they can be kind of hit and miss sometimes though. What kind of music do you usually listen to?

Cool profile too, very informative XD Are you a fan of the band Dimmu Borgir? Looks like the front cover of Spiritual Black Dimensions in the upper left hand corner of your background.
