I sort of know about the series because my sister likes it.
Lol I always thought that in Hetalia Finland should be a woman because Finns tend to call personification of Finland as "Finnish maiden" or "Maiden of the Finland" (Suomi-neito in finnish. smile )
Cool how there are little accurrate things in every contry, specially the vodka part in Russia's description (Lime-vodka is awesome) and weird festivals in Finland's. Haha, Finland is "Tino Väinämöinen", cool. Väinämöinen is the main character of national epic of Finland, called Kalevala. biggrin

Oh wow that's so funny! I'm Finnish and "Perkele" is one of the old names for Finnish thunder god. When christianity came to Finland it got a new meaning thought, now the word "perkele" means "Satan" or "devil", or a swore in general (it's one of the populariest bad language words in Finland lol), it's also in some bible translations... Hahaha, I still can't imagine a dog saying "perkele" that's so epic!
