Friendslist requests are off because I don't believe adding someone to a list makes someone another's friend nor that friends must be added to a list in order to be considered a friend.
Please do not ask me for donations. I do not donate to anyone who asks, regardless of the cause. Yes, I may have items on my avatar that are now worth a lot of Gold, but that does not mean that it should be assumed that I have a plethora of Gold and items lying around, rotting and waiting to be distributed when asked about. For all you know, I could have a million Gold in items on my avatar, but could not have anything else in my Inventory, or even a single Gold.
Besides, I am questing, meaning anything I have to spare will go toward my quest.
I don't care for spam (comments unrelated to myself, my avatar, etc) and will delete comments and use my Ignored list as I see fit. I may or may not feel the need to care for any comments, spam or otherwise, more than enough to acknowledge it.
If you think I'm annoying or a b***h, I'll save you so time. I can't honestly say that I disagree with either one of those descriptions, and thus am not really offended by it. You might want to try coming up with something more creative if you want to me to at least raise a brow, 'kay thanks.
The Way I See It...
I do not believe users who use correct grammar, punctuation or spelling are better than others. It is certainly easier on the reader, which would be why is I try to use as much correct grammar and whatnot as possible. However, I believe that users may type however they like. If someone is going to look down on on I or anyone else because of the way they type, I can't say I'd obsess over earning this person's respect. But if I can't read what someone is saying, I just might say something.
I really don't have much opinion in regards to the new starter items and hairstyles. The newbies still aren't getting anything older users didn't have to work for cheaper or in an easier way, such as expensive NPC store items or limited-edition MC's one had to save up for. Of course, it would be nice if we got to pick a starter set just to make it even as last time, but not getting to do so really doesn't offend or annoy me due to its low prices.
I tire of all the sponsor events, Gaia Cash features, and new GStore items being released. I certainly wouldn't mind them if there were plenty of JUST Gaia features and items being released constantly as well, but it seems that they are paying more attention to ways to get money and those handing them money then they are to to their users. I realize that there are obviously just Gaian things being released, but I feel that there needs to be more. Of course, I believe Gaia still cares, I know it for fact. But I would much like to see a demonstration, the fruit of their labors that they're hopefully working on behind-the-scenes.
The fact that the staff members can simply invoke fear and respect simply because they have a colored username and a title annoys me. Yes, they certainly do deserve respect: but for what they do for Gaia in their time and not because they simply because they have authority. Many users do not seem to realize that staff members are, like everyone, regular people with their own opinions, feelings, and thoughts.
I don't see anything wrong with multi-pose Monthly Collectibles unless I dislike the item itself or specific poses. More poses means more ways to wear an item and thus more ways to satisfy users.
I'm am fairly nuetral about the 2% listing fee in the Marketplace. What bothers me about it is that few users seem to be able to grasp the concept as to why it is there, and simply dislike it because they lose a fraction of the Gold they could have earned. Ah, greed. Personally, I could do without it, because I, like many other users, would prefer to keep all of the Gold that they are to earn when selling an item in the Marketplace. However, it does work to my advantage, as certain items in my Inventory rise in price daily due to price-and-demand and the added inflation caused by compensation for said fee. I do like how the staff is working to try to combat inflation, but I find it hilarious how it currently is not working at all, and, is doing the opposite, in fact.
I'm not really effected by the restriction in which users can no longer name their rooms in Gaia games. If I don't want to chat with anyone, I make my own password protected room. There are alternatives.
I am anti-N.I.P.S, in terms of the first starter sets. The world isn't "fair," in case you haven't noticed. Yes, it nice to make the world as fair as possible, but how isn't it fair anyhow? Many users look down upon the Starter Sets and all who done Starter clothing. When the Starter Sets were launched, everyone had their chance to pick one. Hence, everyone who was able to recieve one. Sure, you may not have had the "luck" to get Starter clothing when you first joined, but you have them now and so do the newer users. It would only be unfair if you do not or did not get the chance to get Starter clothing at all. Besides, times change. With such logic, we shouldn't have computers because cavemen didn't. The new often have it better than the old, and you, regardless of now old or new, is having it better than someone before you.
