    Hiyo! And welcome to the small, personal niche of Gaia I call my own. My name is Julian but my dad calls me Smooligans; my mom calls me Julie Joo; for a brief stint in sixth grade, I was known as Ice Princess (because I would prance around like a ballerina on ice after school). So call me whatever. User name's Pindarus (or Pin).

    I'm twenty-something and currently enrolled in university. I study English Lit/Creative Writing, but I'm not sure what to do with these skills just yet, probably teach somewhere. My long term goals are to travel to France, pick up the language while teaching English there then see where life takes me.

    I enjoy reading and writing, the taste of natural grapefruit juice, naturally scented lotions, Chap Stick, electronic music, Chinese food and vintage things.

    My favorite bands are Iamamiwhoami, Kindness, Broken Social Scene and Bibio.

    I admire Kenneth Parcel from 30 Rock. If only we could all be so blissfully naive and generous.

    I've been on Gaia since December 07, 2004 and I don't see myself quitting anytime soon. However, I'm on and off Gaia these days during the fall and spring semesters.
