Vincent chuckled and pretended as if that were exactly it. He in all the times he had spent around people, had hidden his true emotions from them. Why? Because in a way,
it was Vince's way of not only protecting himself from others but protecting others from himself. He wasn't a kind person deep down, no matter what anyone thought, and the darker
feelings that seemed to swirl in the back of his heart were stronger than anything anyone could possibly imagine. When you loved someone so much that you wanted to crush them
and be in their very essence, you would come to slightly understand the feeling that consumed Vincent Nightray. He simply glanced down as he picked up a book from one of the shelves that
he had lined in his room. "I wouldn't exactly say that, but I don't see any profit in it for me to be upset." He stated, he knew that he was bothered deep down about a lot of things but he refused to
allow them to surface in front of other people.

"You speak as if smiling is a bad thing, little brother." Vincent chuckled, knowing Elliot didn't really mean anything by it but there
was a reason he kept that smile plastered on his face, it was to hide his true nature from the world. The darker nature deep within that wanted
nothing more than to destroy others and protect his elder brother.

"I was only teasing Elliot." Vincent shook his head with a smile, it was so like him to take things all too seriously. Though he would be
lying if he said he wasn't a little more weary of certain things lately. After all he kept doing very dangerous missions with Fang as of late.

Vincent could have laughed at that. "Is that what it sounded like?" He questioned, turning his head with a smirk. He felt a bit light headed
but he supposed it was from the mission earlier. "I was merely stating that you should watch your back more closely, Elliot. You do have a tenancy
to jump into things without thinking seriously."

Vincent turned his head away and stared out the open windowpane of his room. His expression was contemplating something as if he had known
everything or perhaps nothing at all. He seemed to be deep in thought but he stated one thing to his younger brother. "Then I suggest, watching your step."
He knew how Leo had become protective over himself, and even if it was Elliot, Vincent wasn't so sure it wouldn't be a small problem later.

[ Actually no. I'm Gil's fiance in real life and our pairing on here honors that. I don't mean to hurt your feelings or anything but I'm most definitely 100% taken and
would not be comfortable doing something like that. ]

Vincent chuckled, it was so like Elliot to be up to some sort of mischief, the younger Nightray had always been a bit of a hot head
and never really thought things through. Now Vincent was seeing the young boy starting to develop into a miscreant young man.
Perfectly normal. "Mm, try not to make Leo mad at you."
