Well hello there. I'm Maddie.
I'm a 16 year old College student from the United Kingdom.
I spend far too much time procrastinating, and too little working.
I listen to music pretty much non-stop, and probably over-analyse and quote lyrics to more songs than I should.
I like to write: Poetry, stories, songs, you name it.
I enjoy pretending to be intelligent and annoying others.
I’m witty, beautiful, modest, and always say the right thing.
I am also a liar, and worry way too much.
I'm what you'd call a Control Freak. I'm also a Perfectionist.
I get way too competitive over things and I really am too opinionated for my own good.
I live for the simple things – times with my best friends, white wine, thunderstorms beautiful jewelry and the cold side of the pillow. I dislike clowns and jelly, but I adore bleary mornings and bacon sandwiches.
I say random adjectives followed by the word "much" and a question mark far too often.
Where possible, I neglect to dress myself and instead choose to spend as many days as I can ensconced in bed with sugary snacks, my Laptop and as much fanfiction as I can get my greedy little hands on.
I should probably broaden my cooking skills beyond toast and omelettes. I need to realise that a diet of tea, Oreos and Mmmmbrownies will not get me through A-Levels.
My life is an eclectic mix of pictures, music, television, meet ups, writings and general fangirl!squee.
I tend to go through what people would call “unhealthy” obsessions.
I’m a Potter dork. I haunt the HP sub-forum.
Want to try and out-do my knowledge? Go ahead.

Many hours are spent in the company of these boys:
Aside from FOB, Panic, and The Beatles, I adore Doctor Who, Top Gear, HIGNFY, 24, anything by Ian McEwan, House, QI, Heroes, Desperate Housewives, Torchwood, Glastonbury, The Proms and Wimbledon.
I have recently found myself becoming distressingly addicted to
The Culture Show.
I'm studying Modern History, Philosophy, Politics and English,
though I know it's hard to tell from the way I write this.
I have my moments of eloquence; the rest of the time,
I type just as I talk.
I do enjoy meeting new people and finding others who share my obsessions. I may not be the best or most reliable person in the world, but I’m still trying.
I can not take care of plants. I am physically incapable of it.
And above all don't blame me for anything I may do or say whilst under the influence of cough medicine, or coffee.
As you can probably tell, I'm generally just a little bit ridiculous.
