POISON IVY
"She defends the defenseless nature in the world and truly believes in her cause. Maiming, mauling, and mutilating are extreme measures, but it's nothing compared to what humanity's done to the world of nature. Ivy always sees the greater good as she punishes those who deserve it."
- J.T. Krul
Growing up in a wealthy home could not ease the pain that Pamela Isley felt from her emotionally distant parents. In college, she could strive after something she truly had a passion for- botanical biochemistry. As a student, she fell in love with her seductive professor (Floronic Man). He used her as an experiment and injected her with poison which mutated her, turning her skin green and driving her to the brink of insanity from near-death.
The result was Pam left barren. Instead, she mothered plants as her children and saw them as living creatures, only more innocent then those that had harmed them- mankind. She moved to Gotham City after losing her boyfriend in a horrific car accident, thus becoming "Poison Ivy."
After an encounter with Batman in which she lost, Ivy gained an obsession over Batman because of his strong willpower, the same as many villains after her. She has had various encounters with him since.

Poison Ivy: "I wanted to do the right thing."
Batman: "Perhaps. But in the wrong way."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In Poison Ivy's mind, plant life is more precious than the value of human life. Her true motives are simply to live in peace with her plants. She sees human kind as an infection to the plants she loves and that they deserve to be punished for their crimes against mother earth. Plants are the innocents.
She is a radical environmentalist, and she will do whatever she can to protect the earth (but not its people). She uses crime simply as a facet to achieve greater goals all for the sake of her passion.
Although Batman and Poison Ivy (in certain renditions) have a bit of a romantic history, it is rarely seen as a major part of her role, and it has never been regarded as serious. Batman understands her motives, but no matter what, crime is crime in his eyes.

Harley Quinn: "Hey! Aren't you that plant lady? Poison Oakey?"
Poison Ivy: "Ivy! Poison Ivy!"
Harley Quinn: "Sorry! Harley Quinn! Pleased to meet 'cha!"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Poison Ivy met Harley Quinn in a museum while both were trying to steal separate objects. Ivy was after plant toxins, and Harley was after the multi-million dollar harlequin diamond. When Ivy set off the alarm, the two had to stick together in order to escape. Their skills suited each other perfectly, and for a long time the duo seemed unstoppable. Ever since, the girls have often teamed up together in order to perform criminal tasks.
Ivy is protective of Harley, and she is one of the very few humans that Ivy genuinely cares for. She sees her as a victim of a similar circumstance with a man whom desires to manipulate her (the Joker). She does not approve of the relationship and despises Harley's "puddin'."
We girls have got to look out for each other, right Harleen -Harley- Quinzel?
He may be a future man, but the one manipulating Harls is The King Joke.
That silly boy in the hat that I regard as the real thing is Clever Scarecrow.
The tough little kitty cat is Selina Catwoman Kyle.
I am the Poison Ivy a part of Batman Revolution.

Crane couldn't help himself, he shuddered at her wink.
He suddenly felt like he was in high school again, nervous and shy. Sherry Squires, the once most beautiful women to ever betray and break his heart, couldn't compare to what he saw right now.
Ivy could get men and women to swoon over her.
Jonathan twiddled his fingers as he looked down at his hands, trying not to give eye contact to her, trying not to worsen what he was feeling.
His eyes narrowed.
"Lil' Crow?! Watch who you're talking to, Pammy."
After they’d walked several blocks under the cool veil of Gothams evening shroud, they came too the store that sold the Weed Killer. She figured her rage was more towards secretly the pesticide, she’d always thought bugs were cute…not fish though, fish were yucky things…the way they looked out of water, the way they smelled and tasted, bleh! Ivy had been the first too make her entry, and much after time she’d killed the clerk, Harley cartwheeled in doing her best too avoid the broken glass. ”—WHEEE!” when however she straightened and noticed the dead clerk, Harley sighed and shook her head. ”—Awww you killed ‘im Red! Ya supposed tah tease the fellah and then torture him until death falls intah option, least that’s how Ida done it.” humming softly her favorite song by the Ramones, ‘Beat on the Brat’ she skipped back towards the area with the cans of lighter fluid, on her way passing the boxes of pesticide and herbicide. Knocking them off the shelf with her hand she secured one of the cans of lighter fluid and popped the safety cap, instantly moving too squirt the fluid onto the boxes upon the floor.
