Nah, not really. Not in a sense at least. I was too young to remember my dad being in it. And don't worry, he's still alive. It's just watching him through out my life after it is all. He's also been in Iraqi freedom for 6+ years so this wasn't the only one, but just reading it and then thinking back kind of brought back some things I hadn't thought of in a long time.

When I saw it I remembered the sword he carved out of a piece of wood that had all the tick marks of the days and months he spent there. It's called "PAWN" because him and the men he was with were just pawns on the front lines at the time since they were all new. It has words etched into it and phrases they'd say to each other and stuff. I also have his eight inch blade from there too, he kind of gave me all his ODS items when I turned fifteen, dunno why.

That and I'm sick with a fever so I'm being naturally nostalgic. xD
