I think its easier with your own character at first. For me it helps me figure them out better. But I do get out of character with my own quite a bit. But with a character from a series and whatnot, its sometimes harder because I'm likely to jump right into it with them and completely forget that I don't know them that well. I'm probably not making any sense.
But, its easier for me to be my own character than a series character.

Yeah, Chucks one of my own. I'm still trying to work everything out with her character, and her relationships with my others characters. And I used to change my accounts quite a bit. I had a few different ones I'd do that to, but I'm trying to stick to this for now.
Well,I'm actually a true Loki roleplayer.But made another account as Hawkeye,because I'm in love with Jeremy Renner...
I can play both of them very good,or at least I think so.
Though I let my friend have my Loki account,so she could roleplay with me and I could help her write fanfictions.
She's giving it back later on,so I'm going to switch off from both these characters when she leaves the Loki account.
