I think its easier with your own character at first. For me it helps me figure them out better. But I do get out of character with my own quite a bit. But with a character from a series and whatnot, its sometimes harder because I'm likely to jump right into it with them and completely forget that I don't know them that well. I'm probably not making any sense.
But, its easier for me to be my own character than a series character.
I gues you could wait and see if she is going to get an account.
Yeah, Chucks one of my own. I'm still trying to work everything out with her character, and her relationships with my others characters. And I used to change my accounts quite a bit. I had a few different ones I'd do that to, but I'm trying to stick to this for now.
Well, if its really a contest between those two, then I guess it all comes down to who you like more. Or who you feel more comfortable having your account as.

I can play both of them very good,or at least I think so.
Though I let my friend have my Loki account,so she could roleplay with me and I could help her write fanfictions.
She's giving it back later on,so I'm going to switch off from both these characters when she leaves the Loki account.
I guess our shipping tree has made us best friends now.
It's always awesome to know others in the same boat as you.
