A quiet, dark day in the cities. Bio-terrorism activity kept to a minimum, thanks to the efforts of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance, or BSAA for short. Nothing seems to be happening at the moment, at least for now. Never know what's going to happen in the next hour. Celebrating for the low activity, a young engineer approached the operative, giving a gentle pat on his shoulders. Wonder if he has a lot on his mind now. Can't be safe then sorry!

She turned by the surprise push he gave her from behind, nearly tripping over a step. She opened her mouth, only to freeze in place when she saw him shoot the electricity from his stump.

'How the hell did he do that?!?' Her mind froze in shock in sync with her body. She didn't know how to respond to what just happened. It was when he started limping and bleeding did she snap out of it, grabbing Piers by his upper torso, and making sure he stayed steady.

"Are you ok?"

Grabbing the shoulders of the closet Ja'vo near her, she pushed down upon them, picking her body up, allowing her both of her feet to land on the Ja'vo's chest for a brief moment before she used that momentum to push off and upwards, kicking the Ja'vo in the face with both of her feet at the same time. Her body then flung in a cartwheel in mid-air, landing her back on her feet of where she once stood. This was all in a brief moment of happening, but the wear and tear of fighting so many Ja'vo with her hands alone was starting to show. She was limping a bit, and her breathing was getting a little unsteady.

"We should go. Now!" She exhaled as she slowly moved away, towards the stairs to the upper library level. Placing one hand upon Piers' good shoulder, she applied a little of her weight on him in exhaustion, as well as pulling him along with herself towards her destination. She put her stun rod into its holder on her belt, and moved the tips of her fingers to grab the handle of her gun, pulling it out. She pulled the trigger towards a few Ja'vo, not really aiming to kill, but to delay them from following them up the stairs for their escape.

She was completely focused on the Ja'vo ahead of them, swinging her stun rod towards each one she saw. Blue sparks flew everywhere as she took down three of them. She didn't think as she threw herself at another, grabbing him by the shoulders, swinging her body over his, and smashing his face into the ground. She twirled around, swinging her leg, kicking another one in the head.

Ah yes, she was much better fighting them up close then far away. She turned to check on Piers, suddenly a look of shock crossed her face as she realized that he couldn't snipe with his arm left. How could she of not realized that he didn't snipe with that arm before leaving his side?!? She quickly backed up towards Piers, covering him from the rain of bullets still coming their way as she looked for some cover for him.

She was taken by surprise by the sudden pull at her arm, making her lose balance and fall behind the table. She quickly sat up, leaning her back against the table.

". . ." Her brows furrowed together, as her mind went into concentration. How could she of missed the signs that they were under attack? She must of really been out of it. But there was no time to ponder about it. She pulled out her onyx-black hand gun, cocking it. Peering a little over the table, she spotted a Ja'vo. She whipped her gun towards him and released a couple shots, both going straight into his neck. Dang. . .she needed a head shot to kill them. Might of been a bad idea to get rid of her snipping gun earlier. . .

She quickly changed weapons to her stun rod, shooting Piers a look to watch her back. She grabbed the edge of the table and threw herself over, running towards a Ja'vo, ready to attack.

His soft sigh made Sherry stare at him for a while. . .Maybe it was the infection that kept him alive deep underwater? But wait. . .

"When did you get infected Piers?" She said, seeming more calm with asking the questions. What could of possibly happened to him to make him not leave on the escape pod as well? She slowly stood up, placing the book where she was sitting, slowly going in a circle around the table they were sitting at. One arm crossed in front of her stomach, right below her chest, while the other went across her chest, hand landing itself on the opposite shoulder.

Sherry felt her stomach almost twist in knots "This really is Raccoon City all over again..." She whispered almost sounding distant. "Let's get going! We can't let them kill all those innocent people!" She yelled already taking off in a quick sprint, there was no time to waste in her eyes. She knew what it was like to be in a place like Raccoon City; all people had the rights to live not be blown up by bombs to cover the evidence that there ever was an outbreak.
