A custom PC that I build back in '08 to play games. The original intent was to get a rig that would be enough to run zOMG with no lag, but I figured why stop there? So I went on to slap in one of the best GPUs on the market at the time (an ATI Radeon 4870x2) and to this day, I'm still able to play Skyrim at max quality with a respectable FPS. Some people may say that 3 grand is a lot to spend on a computer, but considering how long it's lasted me, I think it was well worth the investment. But it's finally time to upgrade. My motherboard won't handle a faster card than the one I currently have installed because of its outdated architecture and my rig is finally showing some signs of slowing on certain games at max quality (namely Crysis 3 and Company of Heroes 2). It will cost a lot of money, but that's what I'm waiting on Black Friday for.
Well it will mean a great deal of money for me at least. I'll be doing the majority of my black friday shopping online. Gonna hope to pick up some games on Steam and maybe some parts for my gaming rig from Newegg.
I have Pokemon Y. That should attest to how I've been in itself LOL. Black Friday is coming up soon so that means it's going to be pretty hectic at work. I'm hoping that I'll become assistant manager soon because right now our store is not getting anything done at all. Kinda sad, but oh well.
