For indeed he had that hungry look in his eye. I stood there licking my candy and stared at Spot while he stared back, licking his hairy monkey lips. After that, everything seemed like a blur, but from what I do remember in the split second of that monkey scramble, Spot gave a gigantic leap from the branch he was seated on, the wind blew my hair sideways and my banana candy on a stick was no longer in my hands. I looked down to see if it had fallen in the dirt, but I couldn't see anything. I looked to the side, the other side, behind me. No where. And then I looked up at the monkey. There he was, perched atop his branch as if he hadn't jumped up at all, still licking his lips--with a little more smack to it. Still, confused, I went back to the vendor and purchased another candy banana on a stick and proceded to the exit of the zoo, having no interest in any of the other animals, content with my candy and my day well-wasted.
it's sad how i'm the only one on your page with comments!
i'll write a random speel here that has nothing to do with anything.
one day, i went to the zoo in San Fransico and while there they were having a special exhibit on spider monkies.
monkies have always been an interest of mine, so i decided to take a look.
and there they were in their cage in all their spidermonkey glory.
one in particular sparked my interest - he was a bit different than the others for he sported a very becoming white spot in the middle of his back. i lovingly named the monkey spot.
after several hours of just staring at the primates, i decided it was time to pick up a snack.
as irony would have it, the special snack of the day were candy bananas on a stick, so i picked one up and paid the man.
though i was actually on my way back to the car, the hot san fransico sun beating on my back, i ignored my plans and stopped by the spidermonkey cage again.
Spot stopped swinging on his branch to come watch me again.
or was it the banana that he was interested in?
man this is a stupid comment
if you want you can finish the story
