As the woman spoke, Snowe felt her anxiety ease, and at the mention of her blade she quickly returned her hand to her side as a sign of goodwill. "Do forgive me, but one cannot be too careful when traveling these lands." She said, in what seemed like an almost humorous manner. "Boned, you say? Well, I daresay I've been there before and yet, here I stand." She watched the apple slowly roll away into the grass, unable to keep herself from feeling wary at it's presence. "I am merely performing my duties in surveying the forest for anything that might disrupt the peace. Poachers, bandits, they all have a habit of causing trouble when they find themselves within these woods. Though, Madame, I feel I must ask you the same question. This hardly seems like the kind of place one would find a woman such as yourself."

Snowe feels her blood freeze in her veins as the woman lowers her hood, revealing a face that felt both foreign and well known to her. Her heart hammers frantically against her chest, as if looking to flee from her very body. However, she knew she could not allow the fear to consume her, she had worked too hard to fall now. Doc, Happy, Dopey, everyone, she could not put their hours of training to waste merely because the woman may have resembled her mother. Resting her hand on the hilt of her blade, Snowe tried to give the air of calm, so as not to alert the woman of the power she had over her. "Truly, good Madame, it is more to appease my own curious mind. You resemble someone I once knew, but of course I know you could not be them." She tried to give the woman a polite smile, but felt it falter as she retrieved an apple and knife from her bag. The knife, however, alarmed her far less than the apple. Snowe felt her stomach churn, and her throat constrict at the memory of the last time she encountered such a fruit. "A lovely custom, truly. Though I am afraid I do not care much for them myself."
