Very true, but I don't know if they'll keep it until I tell them I'm back in college or just give me the money... Which I hope they do because I can use it to pay some of my student loans I owe
Luckily my dad and I just found out about the VA recently starting to do that for dependents... I just have to submit my information to the nearest branch and they'll do the rest ^^' Just hope since I'm over the age of dependency they'll let me have the money XD
I remember the stress and craziness of college... I did four years and got a bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Unfortunately, my four years were all for nothing as I found out the degree is only good for the state of Michigan as it was a private business college I went to that isn't nationally recognized. They only taught me the bare minimums to get a job in Michigan. I lived in Oklahoma for a year after that and tried to get a job with that degree and all jobs told me that I wasn't qualified enough due to little to no experience and a degree only recognized in Michigan. I live in Iowa now and it's still not recognized... It's very frustrating that all that work went for nothing. But at least I can say I have a degree... Just not in the field I want since it's a side degree.
