My name's Amy. So I'm a girl. I'm a junior in high school, I live in the USA, and I take 5 AP courses and 2 honors courses. Nothing else, mainly because my school won't let me take more than 7 classes. Oh well.
Um, I don't really know what to write here since I ctrl-a-ed and deleted all the crap that was here before. I think there was a lot of stuff about fandoms? I don't know. Probably. We can start there, I guess.
Let's talk Free!
I really, really, really like Free!, if you hadn't noticed by now. Ahem, the username, the avi, the gifs, the profiles, practically everything. My favorite character is Matsuoka-senpai~ Now, before you go and yell at me for being a yaoi fangirl, I would like to stop you for a moment and say that you are completely right. I like yaoi. But Free! is not just yaoi, it's also one of the best shounen animes (yes, you heard right, shounen) I've ever seen because their friendship is so strong. So you know, maybe it's romance, but it's also the most beautiful anime graphics (that water *drools*), and it's also ******** tearjerking.
I also like Sherlock (lol, you shoulda seen my Sherlock cosplay because it was ********' on point), SPN, DW, Hannibal, GoT, Harry Potter, Disney, Broadway, and countless other animes (Tokyo Ghoul and SnK woop woop)
i take an interest in Shakespearean literature, and my favorite poets and authors include Allen Ginsberg, Robert Frost, Fitzgerald, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and Salinger. I like Beowulf, too (surprisingly). I'll pretty much read anything you give me, and I won't hate it all that much (I'm so sorry, Tolstoy, but I legitimately could not make it past a hundred pages of Anna Karenina. And Summerland? HAhahahahAHAHAHA go ******** yourself).
I am a firm believer in the fact that one should read the book before seeing the movie.
I like science. Preferably quantum physics, genetics, or human anatomy.
I plan on having a career in scientific research, which means either quantum physics, physics in general, astronomy, and prion research. Or engineering, since I seem to like that too.
UPDATE: my brain says I want to go to Columbia for engineering.
Science is my Bible, and evidence is my gospel.
If I ever come off as rude or arrogant to you, yeah. That's who I am. Snarky, ambitious, majorly self centered, calculating, judgmental, and occasionally
scary. But stay on my good side, and you'll see the weirdly deep and oddly
funny[?] side of me. The latter being my huge arsenal of gifs.
