About
Fondest greetings to you all! A few instructions, just before rehearsal starts:
All “gangsta”, “l337” and “txt talk” found within my comments box will punjabbed.
All HSM fans should beware; I don’t take kindly to a massacre of sound.
I do not give to those who beg; I choose at random who I donate items to.
As for Lloyd Webber's Phantom ... I will not tolerate to see upon my profile page such comments as, "Butler rules!", "Colm's the best one there is!", "Crawford's far better than that guy you like" et cetera ... et cetera ...
One essential thing that anyone would need to know about me is that I love to sing. I'm not some hormone-induced teenager who goes about proclaiming "Musik iz ma boyfriend!!!1!!1!" - heck, I'm not even a teenager! The thing is, singing is my one pure joy in life. I've been studying Classical Voice for around 9-10 years' now and my voice - though not quite where I want it to be at the moment - is starting to mature. I've been a member of the [town] Community Choir since I was 13, played Tuptim in The King and I in '05, been involved with the bi-annual Music on the Murray since its launch in '03 ((bar '09 when they had a jazz theme with James Morrison)), and I played a slutty student ((Act I)), the Goddess Chloris aka "Flora" ((Act II)) and Medusa ((Act III)) in Orpheus in the Underworld with the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of S.A. in '09.
Singing and music in general is one aspect. You must also know - with equal capacity - is that I am a proud Warlovian; a fan of Australia's Living National Treasure and King of Australian Musical Theatre, Anthony Warlow, for those of you playing at home. I could go on about how my Warlovianism came about but it's a rather long story and I didn't make enough room. XD Therefore, know this: I am the creator of Unexpected Song: Celebrating the Life of Anthony Warlow, a fan forum that not only has been running successfully since its creation on the 20th of April 2006, but also has been seen by the man himself.
I have been fortunate enough to have seen The Phantom of the Opera nine times, eight of which were with him in the title role of the Phantom. I have been even more fortunate enough to have met him - thrice. On the second night - an exact month after my 21st birthday - he gave me a long, gentle kiss on the cheek. On the third night - at the Phantom LSS - he asked for me, kissed me again, and glomped me. ^}_^"
I have also met the majority of the Australian cast bar Derek "Andre" Taylor, Andrea "Carlotta" Creighton and Roy "Marksman / alt. Phantom" Weissensteiner. Concerning famous faces, I have also met Dennis Olsen, Eric Bogle and John Munroe, and performed with Julie Anthony, Pot-Pourri, Timothy Sexton, David Thelander and Deborah Caddy.
Well, now that all that's out of the way, here's the basics:
| Australian born and raised | Filly mother | Welsh father | Last child of 9 | Born in the city | Raised in the country | Sagittarius | Fire Tiger | Ruling Number: 9 | Archer | Green Belt in shotokan | Played netball for five years' and hated every minute of it | Loves golf but isn't allowed to use the course due to stupid management | Played hockey for two years' but quit due to boredom | Wants to learn to ice skate | And ballroom dance | Hates pink but agrees it's a necessary colour to nature ((ask Archibald Grosvenor)) | Avoids mainstream music like the plague | Thinks the '04 film of Phantom was pox | POX! | Is a Warlovian, Weissensteinium, Prycer, Rickmaniac, Manner, Areaologist, and Curryfester | Has met so many wonderful people in the past few years' | Is an official ZETA | Apparently has an "accent" ((possibly English)) despite the first note | Is IN a relationship | Believes in existence, not religion | LOVES PURPLE | First fell in love with the sound of a voice at age 5 |

Unexpected Song: Celebrating the Life of Anthony Warlow is currently hosting the Phantom of the Opera Australian Cast Recording and / or Filmed Stage Performance Petition (Starring Anthony Warlow). We have several signatures from some members of the cast and verbal support from others; one such verbal supporter is Anthony Warlow: The Phantom. It may be an impossible dream - we do understand the complexities of the entire situation - but this is a dream we will not let die so quickly. We do this for the fans; for the performers; for you.
Please, show your support. Spread the word. Even if all we get in the end is a highlights recording that in itself will be a victory.
If you would like to sign the petition without registering at Unexpected Song, you may contact me here, on the Unexpected Song account on Gaia, or through any of the other sites linked in the first post of the petition on Unexpected Song.

Down Once More to the Dungeon of My Black Despair
In case anyone's curious, I'm going to provide the link to my Gaian Lair. I only visit it on occasion, but if I find anyone trying to haul away my piano there'll be hell to pay.
Down we plunge to the prison of my mind
As I said before, music is a very important aspect in my life. I do listen to a range of genres, not just musical theatre, and I'm pretty sure I'm still missing quite a bit in my interests list. Anyway, feel free to watch this player for the songs and artists I scrobble ((no you may not have a duplicate; I went to the effort of finding the right pic, resizing and cropping it perfectly and positioning the font in just the right place, so it's mine)).
I used to have a media player here but the website that owned it changed the coding, so I was unable to erase the white background. If I ever feel up to it, I might slip in a YouTube button with something from Phantom.
