So, you want to friend me, do you?
I WILL NOT FRIEND PEOPLE UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES...(do yourself a favor and read carefully!)
1 - If you think my avatar fits the following adjectives or similar (hawt, sexy, cool, pretty, awesome, etc etc). I do not care to be added to your list of 'rich' avatar friends just so you can boost your own self indulged popularity.
2 - If you think it will get you free items/gold/cyber (I offer none of these - especially to those I have never met/spoken to before and especially since that last one will get someone banned from the site. I like my account just fine, thanks - and have no intentions of losing it in favor of pleasing some horny pre-teen who took a liking to me - blech!).
3 - If you don't even take the minimal opportunity to actually - you know...TALK to me and get to know me (and thus, let me get to know you). I hate it when people just - out of nowhere - ask to friend others (which gets especially annoying if the one looking to friend another is persistant about it, refusing to take 'no' for an answer).
In the real world, you do not pick random people you see on the street and ask them to be your friend (in the real world - the person would either think you're a nut job and hurt you/get as far away from you as possible. Persistance would result in a stalking charge - and who wants that?).
So yeah - if you wouldn't pull such stupidity in real life, why do it here?
4 - If you're an illiterate, twittering moron. (i.e. - you type like this...omfg!11! u r so hawt!1!1 cun i b ur freind, plz?!!)
That is my personal pet peeve. If you can't even type out even one legible sentence, I want nothing to do with the likes of you. Yes, it makes me sound elitist - but hanging around with people who type talk like that make me feel like my IQ drops with every twittering sentence typed.
