Life is many things, but a fairy tale it is not. Or, so I’ve been told. “I have been known to believe in at least six impossible things before breakfast.” I will live my life as I see fit, and if that means I must be foolishly romantic and young at heart for as long as I live, then so be it. I believe in happy endings, but I know that it takes so much more than just living to earn one.

This, my dear, is why I like to roleplay. As an avid reader, one comes across many happy endings, but only for others. And as endearing as those characters become, it is so much more fun to create your own, and in turn, their happy endings. Unfortunately, bestowing terrible trials and misfortunes falls in with that, but guiding their hand and helping them succeed is quite worth it.

As of yet, I have never found a roleplay that ended on its own terms. Rather, it suffers a painful death due to neglect, or goes on rather endlessly with many, many, many plots, as life itself will often do. So, until the curtain closes on my final act, I hope to search for the roleplay that has a happy ending.
