I will have to look into it. I know a lot of getting a job is smoozing with other people and building the right connections. I just don't want to be poor for the rest of my life. I have been so far because of my families poor decisions, and I don't want to end up with a job that only pay 19k a year... I wish I could get a job working for adult swim, they have such a nice network listening to fans and putting up programs people would like to see usually, but I have no idea how to get from here to there. I love TV and television production the most and have always wanted to make cartoons. It's a fast passed industry and I don't think I'm cut throat enough to crush others. Even working for this website would be a step in the right direction, but I don't think they will be hiring again any time soon, and I can't afford 800 dollars for photoshop.

Yeah, I think I have decided not to teach either. Maybe I should get into the 3D animation program at the state college in the next town. They apparently had people go on to work at Pixar, and for our art college-less state it's got a good art department. I dunno, I have seen a lot of art majors say they could get no work after college. My mom always asks why I won't go into art, and I'm like "mom I'm already poor, got that part covered." Plus we don't have a real art college. The closest is in Memphis, and I'd live on the bad side of town because I couldn't afford the good side, and trust me, that side is super ghetto...

I think I got a sinus infection from subbing for those kids, what with their open mouth coughing, indiscriminately... I need to go work at a bank or something. Maybe become a CPA. Oh, btw, it's just our school district that doesn't pay more, but going to any other would negate any more money I'd make from the gas mileage.

Heh, I don't know if I can call it teaching. I just sub around our district. Man it's changed a lot in 5 years, and these kids don't give a ******** about anything. I like the little kids since they listen to you but man F those high school and junior high kids. You can scream like right at their faces and they just laugh. Doesn't help that you literally can't fail them, and they can just retake tests as they please if they don't like their score. They can have fake hair colors like pink and purple, and don't really get in trouble or suspended. It's so weird, they were so strict with us. They are hiring at the post office and I'm going to try to work there since I will probably make 11 dollars an hour. The subs here only make minimum wage, and that's so not worth the trouble.

WOO I won for once. I got the pm granting the gold. I was like WTF 20k? for what... then I read the other pm, it's so exciting. I wish both my entries had won, since my mens coat would have been very well received for being a realistic, fashionable coat, but I'm not bitching... 3nodding This will end my day way better then I thought it would end. Imagine subbing for special ed kids right before Christmas... It would have been ok but we had nothing for them to do and they get so bored.
