Gaia cash shop items i think. Because they are worth real money people feel the need to sell it for millions of gold in exchange which is fair to an extent.
But gaia also keeps releasing gold generating items and it's not helping reduce the inflation. It would be okay if you were getting like a couple of hundred thousand from it, but instead the lowest amount of gold you can earn on gold generating items is about 5mil.
So no ones really doing anything to stop it, I feel sorry for newbies but there isn't much anyone can do. If you wanna buy items cheaper, or sell items faster you'll have better chances in the gaia exchange.
