My name is Mel.

I'm an artist and a gamer and a music addict.
Not to mention an emote addict.
( Currently I'm over-using this smiley: :] )

I'm not much of a touchy-feely person.
If we're good friends, I don't care so much,
but if I haven't known you long and you touch
me in any way (friendly or otherwise), don't be
alarmed if my response is something between
blinking, twitching, glaring and/or terse
commentary.

I have this apathy thing.
Expressing sympathy, particularly with sorrowful
situations, is incredibly hard for me. Perhaps
impossible. 'Tis not that I do not feel it, however.

My friendship is NOT buyable.

best get to know me via conversation first.

I love literacy.
Moments of word-mashing can be humorous;
typos are a bit annoying but bearable;
excessive chat speak drives me nuts.
You chat speak at me, I ignore you.

I'm addicted to Gaia. Have been since I started June 24th, 2005.
It's a great place for my artfully-inclined muse to run amok.
