Pink Desires


This is the first time I've altered the design of my own profile, after experimenting with a few others; in particular that of my fianceé, known on Gaia as Pink Desires.

This is not going to be a heavily Photoshopped profile; it's going to use minimal changes to the CSS to produce slick results. If I had more time, I'd shop myself some nice gfx for it, but since I don't, I'm going to keep it small. I've always been about sleek lines, minimalist finishes and interoperability, and lately I've tended towards keeping to one or two colors and working almost exclusively in shades and gradients. This profile is inspired by my old Windows shell, which ran Xoblite BB for Windows and had a custom sea blue and green theme.

It is designed to work smoothly under any resolution and viewport size in any CSS 1 / 2 compliant browser (tested in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Enigma Browser). There are one or two glitches, mostly down to scrollbars encroaching onto viewing space and fonts not increasing in IE, but for the mostpart it's working nicely.

Code / Custom graphics are mine, and while I'm not sure if I can cite copyright on a few lines of CSS, stealing is still mean. So don't.

This profile is now heavily out of date, and at some point I'll do a new one. Don't hold your breath.
