Ouch and I thought you were excited to be back at school since you had had a rubbish vacation?
I move into my student house on 24th September but then I have freshers week. So actual academic work starts on the 3rd October.

He really was! But regardless of that, I had a blast seeing the jungle, going sandboarding and going to somewhere new. biggrin

Starting late Augest is good? I don't start until mid to late September and even then I have a week of getting smashed and making new friends.

Yeah it was brilliant for the most part. I'm just sick of my dad a bit now so I won't be going away with him for 3 weeks again.

Heya. biggrin Am now back! (well have been back a few days but just been catching up on sleep since it was an 11 hour flight followed by a shorter 2 and a 1/2 hour flight)

Oh okay, this will be my longest holiday so far. I've been away for 2 weeks before.
Well I'm going with my dad so it won't be totally scary.
Anyways, have a great 3 weeks and I'll message you when I get back. biggrin

No I don't think it'll be too bad but my dad will want us up early and bed late so by the end of the three weeks, I'm going to be so shattered.
Peru is in South America. biggrin

It's only a little over 1.6 kilometers if that in anyway makes it sound less. XD

It's not that bad...I think. I've walked 12 miles before so it should be easy enough.

I quit because I wasn't going enough to get maximum benefit of it.

You going on any more vacations this summer?

Not really yet. But from Augest, I'm aiming to run at least 2 miles three or four times a week and go to the gym at least once a week (that part starts when I start uni cos I've quit my local one).

Really? I was just making stuff up so it would seem like the US would be better than Peru. XD

Wasn't there anyone remotely your age to hang out with? That does seem like a pretty sucky vacation though.

I'm thinking possibly the half contract (18 years) but if I don't like it, I can get out with a year's notice. So it's not too bad.
If I were to join tomorrow, I would say I was not cut out for it. BUT seeing as I am planning on joining in 4 years time, I have plenty of time to get my fitness sorted. Also I did a year at school with the cadets and I reckon I would enjoy it now.

Thanks and you still haven't said why your vacation wasn't good.
Not the air force, the army. It's just something that I feel I want to do while I am still young and healthy and that if I don't do it now, I'll regret it later on.

Yes I am and it should be yeah. I'd rather go to the US to be honest but that plan went to crap when I asked my college lecturers if I could finish a week early.

How was your vacation terrible?

It begins as of tomorrow at 4.00pm.

I'm going to be studying Business and Management despite my desire still to go into the Army. The university campus I want to go to is based in Scarborough which is a smallish seaside town which should be wonderful to live for 3 years.

Yeah I cannot wait. Got 3 weeks of Peru first.
