I was hoping to get into a graduate scheme for biomedical engineering as I don't really have any experience in the field. whee
Definitely will be nice to see my family! I don't know what to bring them home from the UK other than tea though, haha. Any suggestions?
I'm so glad it was the only time too. It was pretty stupid, if she had just asked nicely I would have moved. But she didn't so I still didn't move in the end, ha! rofl I did feel like it ruined my night though. emo
I'll definitely miss it! It is so much safer here, I'll definitely miss being able to walk around to everywhere with no worry. I can wear a skirt here without being harassed at the street. It's not that horrible back home, but when it happens, it annoys the hell out of me. I like the variety in asian foods that you can get here, from thai, malaysia, indian, vietnamese, to persian food too. We don't get that back home either. People are okay, they are definitely friendlier back home. But if I could pick and have my family along, I would probably pick staying here... It gives me less anxiety when I have to be outdoors. whee
It happens to me back home as well. When people travel to my home country they'll be sightseeing at places I've never been to, lol. I guess we just take for granted the places where we live, and everywhere else just seems more interesting. lol Is there any place you'd suggest I go before leaving?
The bloodwork will be checking for sugar levels mainly. whee Hopefully, nothing comes up.
And he is toooo cute! is he getting along with all the kitties? My dog passed away like two months ago.. It was sad, before leaving I was worried he wouldn't be around by the time I got back, and now he is gone. I don't know how i'll feel about it when I get home. emo
Well, I tried looking for a job. (Probably didn't try hard enough, honestly. But because I really couldn't find the time. gonk) So, yeah I'll be going back home. I am kinda excited, I do miss my family&friends! And the food! emotion_drool
I've liked it here so far! The only time I ran into a rude person was my first week here. I went to watch a live show and we had to share table with strangers. When I got to the table, there were already people sitting down so I asked which seats were available. So, I take one of the seats they tell me and then this woman comes up to me screaming at me for taking her seat and telling me how rude I was. She was coming at me without letting me speak at all. After she was done, I said "They (who were her friends) told me to take this seat", and then she was all "why didn't you say so before" But she did not apologize and continued to b***h at me while sitting next to me. stressed She was rude as f***. I was worried these were the type of people I'd find all over in town, but good thing it was just that one time.
I haven't traveled much around England. I've been to London once only, and I also visited Stonehenge and the Roman Baths. I really haven't had much time to go sightseeing as I would have liked to. sweatdrop
I'm sorry about your rheumatoid arthritis. It's hard to understand why we need to deal with health issues at our age. I'll be getting some bloodwork done once I get home, and I'm super anxious about it. emo
Awwss.. post a pic of the puppy! You always get super adorable pets!stressedsweatdrop
I did! I'm pretty much done with my degree. 3 weeks till my thesis submission! (Not exactly the best time to be logging on Gaia) xd And after that I will be moving back home! I can't believe a year went by so fast. gonk I have not been keeping up with any fitness routine either and I've been eating fish and chips like crazy, haha. What do you mean 'good for the most part'? What's been happening? whee
