Salutations!I am May, and I am 25 years old.
Most people who know me think I'm well...a little off. Over the years my emotions and mental health have had quite the roller coaster ride, but things are finally starting to slow down and steady a bit and I'm finally starting to appreciate life, the world and myself.
I am quite attached to my family and loved ones. I live currently with my mother and father, my 3 mutts, Lucy, Sadie and Chelsea, and my beautiful rabbit Othello. I also have a wonderful boyfriend Jon, a very hardworking, fun sister named Alicia, a brother in law named John and of course the two coolest kids ever, my niece and nephew, Ryan and Erin.
I love nothing more than hanging out with my friends doing almost anything they can think of. Mostly I love being in nature or outdoors, especially once the warm weather kicks in, but I also adore just being inside and lazing around, playing video games or watching movies after a long, stressful week or a long night before.
I am never sure quite what my religion is. All I can really say is that I will always remain a Christian in some sense and will always be spiritual.
I have a great love of books. I love to collect them and read them. I find the written word almost an obsession of mine and one day not only do I hope to read as much as I'd like to, I would also love to write a book and hopefully get it published. My favorite genre would be when fantasy or science fiction is mixed with mystery (i.e. The Dresden Files or the Sookie Stackhouse series) but I also love the classic works of literature, my favorite book in general being Alice in Wonderland.
I have one tattoo on my upper back of my chinese zodiac symbol, a rabbit. I plan to get one of a koi fish as well with my western zodiac symbol, pices on my lower back but I feel that would be my last one. I love tattoos on others though, especially when they are meaningful or artistic. I would love to have a few piercings as well, but due to professional reasons, I would never get a body piercing lightly.
over all, I am just me. my true friends accept me, flaws and all and I am always open and always willing to learn and talk to others. I don't usually hold grudges, unless you have really hurt myself or someone I really care about, so don't be afraid to get to know me!
