This is me:
I have three pet rats named Frankenstein, Jellybean, and Franny.
I kind of have this obsession with Coco Chanel. She's just so classy.
I design and make a lot of my own clothes. I recently discovered a passion for making bags and purses too. I'm on the process of getting my etsy account set up. When it's ready I will post the link.
I have an admiration for things that are not mass produced.
I hike, camp, and rock climb.
I love music. Some of my favorite bands include (but are not limited to):
The Arcade Fire, Mary Armstrong, Asthmo, The Beatles, Ben Folds, SOME Cold Play, Birds Without, Bjork, The Dandy Warhols, Death Cab For Cutie, The Decemberists, Eels, Eisley, Flogging Molly, Gomez, Gogol Bordello, PJ Harvey, Jem, The Kites, Led Zeppelin, Matisyahu, Metric, Neutral Milk Hotel, The New Pornographers, The Pixies, Pinback, Pink Floyd, The Pogues, Radiohead, Regina Spektor gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning, Say Hi To Your Mom, The Shins, Sufjan Stevens, Tunng, The Wicked Tinkers, Yo La Tengo, Yo-Yo Ma, Zero 7.
It would take a really long time to list all of the bands that I like.
I also love to read. My favorite books are:
To Kill a Mocking Bird, Harry Potter, The Lathe of Heaven, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats NIMH, Crime and Punnishment, Hitch Hiker's Guide, A Wrinkle in time, Stargirl, and Frankenstein.
As far as authors go I tend to love anything by:
Mark Twain, Steinbeck, Kurt Vonnegut, Orsen Scott Card, and Ray Bradbury. In fact I think Bradbury is my new favorite author. I just finished the Illustrated Man and loved it. Now I'm reading Something Wicked this Way Comes.
Movies are my other passion. I love films and documentaries that make me think. I absolutely adore:
Adaptation, Annie Hall, Smoke Signals, In America, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lord of the Rings, Benny and Joon, Life is Beautiful, West Side Story, Fiddler on the Roof, Mary Poppins, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Everything is Illuminated, Waking Life, Alice In Wonderland, The Little Mermaid, Sophie Scholl: The Final Days, Water, Brick, The Lookout, Resolved, and so many more.
