The only practical argument I ever found was causality.
For example, to our knowledge, it is impossible to create an idea out of nothing. Creativity, at best, is just a branch off of other things that we have already observed.
Now, me and you have the idea of chair. We sit on it, it has four legs, etcetera.
But where did this idea come from if the reality around us is not real?
Even if we were simply brains hooked up to a machine, and this computer in front of me is not real, there is reality somewhere.
And that reality created the idea of chairs, and implanted it into our minds.

We're stuck here and we're pretty much unable to change things such as gravity or time.
I find it easier to go on as if everything does exist. Nothing we can change otherwise.

If nothing else, our consciousness exists.
And in my opinion, that's all we can be sure of.
