【.background information.】
The young Japanese-English aristocrat was born to Cryril de Valence and Akiyo de Valence, The Marquess and Marchioness of Hartford in September 25, 1825. The Marchioness Akiyo was a fragile human, thus died giving birth to her 3rd child and only daughter. Mimato and her 3 brothers (One of them being her half twin) were raised by a nanny for 12 years until her death.

Blessed with good looks, fame and a warm heart, The de Valence family were admired and respected of all class/stations in the mortal world. However, in the dark side of the vampire society Mimato and her 2 older brothers was despised and scorned. Simply because they were a half-mortal and half-vampire, dhampir for short. Despite being pampered the young siblings had a tough childhood. Sometimes they were observed like test subjects by the council-men, they couldn’t make any friends and was always bullied by the royal children of the vampire society. To the vampires the siblings were abnormal beings. But, as time passed the society soon realized that the siblings were becoming stronger and more powerful by the day. The council and the royals were terrified of what might happen if the siblings were to go against the vampire society. It would mark the end of their society has they know it. So, the power houses began plotting to rid them of the beings that threaten their very existences.
When Cryril de Valence learned of their plot, He tried to stop them. But, unfortunately he was killed for going against the royals and council’s decision. So, with the help of a good friend, Mimato along with her 3 brothers escaped their home and seek shelter in a tiny hut in the outskirts of the Hartford. However, after almost being caught by the very people that was pursuing them, the siblings decided to split up. They all agreed to meet again by the hut after all the chaos was over. Sadly, that was the last time Mimato saw her brothers. After desperately looking for them with no luck, Mimato decided to leave and travel around the world. So, after nearly 100 years, Mimato comes back to her hometown and to the very place that changed her life.
