About Me

I like drinking coffee alone, and reading alone.
I like riding the bus alone, and walking home alone.
It gives me time to think, and set my mind free.

I like eating alone, and listening to music alone.

But when I see a mother with her child, a girl with her lover, or a friend laughing with their best friend, I realize that even though I like being alone, I don’t fancy being lonely. The sky is beautiful, but the people are sad. I just need someone who won’t run away.

Welcome to my page. My name is unimportant; if you care enough to know about me, I will gladly tell you once you ask me kindly. I am a twenty-something of the double X chromosomal persuasion finally living my dream. As of September 6th 2014, I have returned to California and now live with my cat and my seven (!) roommates. I am very much in love with my sleepy-beepy jumping bean, Mistah J, my Glasgow smiler, my future husband and father of our children. And with me finally home, our future has never looked brighter.

I roleplay sometimes. It's one of my many vices, if it can be described as a vice. I write in my spare time, though I wouldn't dare call myself a poet or a writer. I enjoy video games, especially those video games made by Bioware, for Bioware claimed my soul with Mass Effect and the one Dragon Age game I played. I am very nerdy and enjoy science, theater, reading, singing, and playing tabletop RPGs, though I am on a tabletop hiatus due to having no friends who game in the area.

Call me a sinner, a saint, a muse, a distraction, a genius, or a fool, for I am all of those things wrapped up into one compact little bundle. If you wish to get to know me more, feel free to comment me or to drop me a line. I don't bite... hard.

Yeah, the entire album is about wishing you could go back to childhood.

Not many people like theirs songs if they hear 1 song out of context. I grew to love that album after repeated listens.

Sorry if I responded late. Was awfully lethargic for awhile.

NOICE! Yeah, a band that can sound just as good Live is a rare thing in this day and age. Music is music though.

And I like lots of different genres in music, but this is a song I can usually come back to after I've listened to every other song a thousand times.
Suburban War by Arcade Fire
"You keep erasing all the streets we grew up in." Gets me every time. I like songs with little to no chorus and Arcade Fire does that pretty well.

I checked it out! Annnnndddddd... It wasn't bad! 3nodding I REALLY enjoy the instrumental part to it, and it's one of the few songs where I prefer the chorus over the rest of the singing, even though none of it was bad.
NICE CHOICE! I might give it a few more listens to see if it grows on me any more.

It also reminded me how I tell myself I like green-eyed girls, but historically I have liked brown-eyed girls. whee

I enjoy music. For MOST people, the kinda music they listen to helps you understand them better.

Oh no, certainly not. Surprise me. 3nodding

And if there's anything you'd rather be talking about, something with more substance or anything, you may change topic.

Well, I mean, It's good to share every now and then. And I'd like to THINK I'm a good person to share with. sweatdrop Plus, none o' that stuff is gonna change my opinion of you! 3nodding

I don't know, what's an all-time favorite song of yours or just one that you've binge-listened to recently.
Basically anything other than regular pop music or country. rofl
Shards of Ire Report | 03/10/2016 8:50 pm
Then let's not think about it. 3nodding hank you for sharing though. Honestly.

I am in search of new music, perchance would you know of some fine tunes? I am open to almost any genre.
Shards of Ire Report | 03/10/2016 3:02 pm
Believe me, the turtle counts. lol

Oh wow. That must suck. I'm sorry, I don't really know what to say... Do you mind sharing exactly what happened/put you in imperial walker mode? Or is that best left untold? I don't need to know and I'm not prying, you're you and you're still awesome no matter what.

And ah, yes. Hospitals. Surprisingly ineffectual, universally needed.
Shards of Ire Report | 03/10/2016 1:32 pm
No need to apologize! 3nodding What kinda pets?

Not being able to walk properly does not sound fun... I couldn't walk for a bit a few years ago and I hated it...

But hey, if you can make the best of it, that's fantastic. Plus,I think you'll be a damn fine Imperial Walker. If I could entrust killing rebel scum to anyone, it'd be you. emotion_brofist

Mental health is good. cool

I am sorry to hear about your sickness, honestly. and YEAH! I haven't been in the WGs either, it wasn't good for much other than killing time really, and I tried to find better things for killing time. Plus...It seemed like every time I posted, the thread died. sweatdrop

I have never tried RPing in the traditional sense, so I can't really comment on that. And I can imagine you lurking, all lurkily and what-not whee
Shards of Ire Report | 03/02/2016 9:25 pm

And not much, to be honest. Just finally let go of the negative and I am slowly working towards the positive. Every day just got a little better because I was thinking better and doing more about it. Sorry if I'm not being specific. sweatdrop It's just a lot of little things, really.

And I didn't have much to keep me here on Gaia, for my MIA status. Talking to you and a few word games, but that's about it. But... I mean you're awesome, don't get me wrong! 3nodding Just kinda... lost contact... Had other things.
